One season about 4 years ago? Just get suspicious of these players that never get a move to one of the top top clubs. Been so many of them over the years that are talked about but never really get the move and have to wonder what the scouts and managers see that puts them off making a move.

He's being priced out of a move. Napoli have set a ridiculously high valuation on him so it's puts off prospective buyers.
You can argue that VVD wasn't considered a good defender until he moved to Liverpool.
