so i done my bit, the easy bit, not got like 6 weeks before hell starts.....this is like being 17 all over again.
 
Donated, I must have ticked the Anonymous box in error. Anyway it's the 'Good Luck Comm' message one done at 11.21am today <ok>

With mine Tel, I got an email receipt from 'The Sober October Team.' - It will also have a reference number midway down starting SO20-

Yeah no email, fairly certain something has ****ed but I did get a transaction text from my card provider. I’ll leave it til tomorrow and try again.

same as when when i set it up mate...but it seems to working, i get e mails when donations go in...that's all i know.

I hoyed in 50, like i said i would, cos i'm gonna do this..

And bobby d the chinese g (that tickled me) brb, and libby seem to have trust in me...

i only hoped to get to 200, and already over half way there...so i can't thank them enuff.

I think it is page 4, the original link. The first of the two in the same comment - should take you straight to the donation page, or a pop up box, asking if you want to donate.

Then fill in your details. I'd just completed mine as BRB, but I messed up and got entered as anonymous.

Don't forget to answer the questions for gift aid.

At the end you need to put in your card details. As long has youve entered your email address, you will be sent a receipt, as proof of payment.

I've just checked the mobile version, you have to hit the donate button.

It starts at £20, but any less, you can just overtype the amount in the box, I assume. Not being rude BTW, I don't like to assume what people can donate, every little helps.

Singer Taylor Swift has donated £23,000 to a London-based student struggling to raise the funds to take up a maths course at the University of Warwick.

Vitoria Mario's online fundraising page details how she has lived in the UK for four years after moving from Portugal.

But she is not eligible for maintenance loans or grants.

Vitoria said: "I was worrying too much about the money, what I have to do and if I have to look for a job. She actually made my dream come true."

The American singer,whose 16 top 10 British chart hits include the aptly titled Wildest Dreams, wrote a message on Vitoria's fundraising page as she confirmed her donation.

At that stage, Vitoria had collected nearly half of her £40,000 fundraising target, and Swift wrote: "Vitoria, I came across your story online and am so inspired by your drive and dedication to turning your dreams into reality.

"I want to gift you the rest of your goal amount. Good luck with everything you do! Love, Taylor."
