sponsor a comm? it's no secret i like a beer or 3. but seen an ad today, and just thought, oh could i really do that? i'm not gonna lie, just doing it of my own back, i would probably fail..but if there was a motive, i'd give it my best shot.....it may destroy me like. To donate follow this link https://www.gosober.org.uk/users/paul-dixon-2 https://www.awarenessdays.com/awareness-days-calendar/go-sober-for-october-2020/#:~:text=Be a Soberhero and go,for people living with cancer.
I believe there's a lot of push back because the pubs need the income. However if someone is doing it to raise money for a cause then good luck to them. I'm out though.
i wouldn't know how to set it up, so may require your help.... a whole month. must admit, i'm a bit nervous as to how my body would react.
Yeah I know. We donate to charities via a DD every month so don't do the ad hoc stuff. Like I said if it's a good cause then good luck if he does it.
He’s giving up the ale for a month and you won’t even do without a couple of jars and chuck him the bluey, OK mate I get it..............
Yeah, this. I don't want to give up beer and don't care what Comm does, great if he donates some cash to charity.
I'll match Tobes £20 as long has it can be donated anonymously, I don't mind using my brb username as id proof of the donation. I can't really nag you about drink but not support you doing this. So it's win, win, for you and charity.
I never really do charity stuff, i only give to blind and guide dogs, as my great grandad was blinded after a mining accident, and i just remember his dogs. It was just this morning while watching TV, (i have the sa,e problem as you mate, i only sleep a few hours) the Ad came on, and there's not many things that make me take notice...But i watched it, and just thought, could i do that? It may seem easy to some,
guide dogs is great. The only thing is i'd prefer if they didn't send me any of their calendars and pictures of dogs as i'd prefer them to actually use my money on the training of dogs
Get the first 3/4 days out the way and it'll be easy mate. One day at a time I'm happy to chuck summit in the pot.
