Alex Albon and Pierre Gasly within a second of each other whilst Verstappen is a lap up the road.

Surely Albon and Gasly need to be in the Alpha Tauri, Kyvyat move out of F1 and then RBR sign either Vettel or Hulk?

What do we make of the Ferrari guys? I genuinely think they’ve got a decent race car if they found some top end power unit performance. They must have been burning half of the worlds oil last year to achieve that power performance. Really hurt them losing that hasn’t it.

Well...
That was pretty dire. Hamilton was perfect, red bull wasn't close, and Bottas was well below par. Not the ingredients for a good battle. Even the mid field was pretty quiet today.

Can't believe ferrari are protesting Racing Point and saying things about sportsmanship and honesty!
Not sure it was oil, didn't they get caught declaring different fuel levels to what was in tank.

Think there were suggestions that they were either burning oil or dicking with the fuel flow sensor. Don't think anyone stated what they were actually doing though did they?

Would be nice to know what they were up to.

Whatever they were doing I think it was more than last season, it just became more noticeable. That maybe was the issue, they got away with what they were doing for a few seasons. Any penalty perhaps could not be just for one season. Maybe the car passed previous tests with the function installed, it not being so obvious.

I am quite surprised the teams aren't protesting more as other than Merc every team would have earned more money in 2019 had Ferrari been disqualified!!! Had all the Ferrari powered teams been disqualified a lot of teams would have benefitted massively. Just look at all the Ferrari powered teams they are significantly worse performance wise than last year so it wasn't just Ferrari that were somehow using more 'fuel'...
I wonder if that was the issue i.e. 30% of the grid would have been disqualified!! That would have made the sport look very bad. Imagine trying to get sponsors for the teams let alone the track advertising, TV coverage etc.....
So I think you might well be right that is was too big an issue that had gone on for too long to allow it to be publicised!!!!

Can't believe they have the front to protest Tracing Point after the massive cover up......

Ferrari's support for Binotto hints that it predates him in my opinion.

I think Ferrari have said that they are concentrating on the new rules package, this year and next is already lost. I wonder if the press in italy will let them.
