Yeah that’s a great deal and move for him. Benfica are a brilliant club and it sounds like they’re trying to make some ambitious moves too, Cavani is looking likely to head there and they’re also linked with Everton Soares. So seems like they’re going all out to reclaim their title next season. If Dias stays this summer, him and Jan at the back will be a great partnership, maybe Jan could even put in a word for us whenever Dias fancies a move elsewhere <whistle>

Agree, good luck to a great servant. 3 years is a good deal for him though!

It’s fair to say that in his early days at the club, he was a total twat who strutted around the training ground as if he owned it. My old buddy Tim Sherwood pulled him up on it and fair play to the guy, he took it on the chin and responded accordingly and moved onwards and upwards to be a great club servant. He’ll be a great asset to Benfica and I hope it works out well for him there.

And you seem to like footballers that have a side parting if I remember correctly? You know, a proper haircut!

Nasty looking thing, isn't it. Fly British Airways or Delta. Piss on the Emirates!!!
A quick rundown of my experiences with BA and Delta

British Airways
-Not being fed on a 14-hour flight, made worse by all the eateries at Terminal 5 being closed because of reasons
-Having to move seats three times because the entertainment module was broken
-Dinner options of chicken or starve as they forgot to load the crate with the steak meals onto the plane

Delta
-My luggage arriving in a completely different state to the plane I was on
-A charter flight with cabin crew who apparently served on the Hindenburg
-Flying through an air pocket and the plane dropping 200ft in the space of a second as a result
-Almost being killed by the plane going into the back of another one over the mid-Atlantic

Apart from that how was breakfast ?

Never had problems with any of them.Sorry!
My best flight was with British Caledonian. Lovely ladies and lovely outfits. The Russian crew of Aeroflot were a "little bit rough" in their manner but.......

Dier not very happy at Vertoghen joining Sporting's rivals! <laugh>
Either that or he's understandably mistaken that background for a fascist rally.
It does make it look like our old player's running an organisation that's trying to kill James Bond.
