sorry bro my patience is tested when I’m dragging myself on a single lane at 20mph on a 60 because a few ****s in leotards are side by side selfishly going along their business.

I mean usual etiquette between 2 car drivers on a narrow is you both tuck in and let the other pass by. Cyclists, many, enough for me to remember...just don’t do it. I’ve seen plenty tail backs due to a lack of common sense by the cyclist at the front...your only option is to cut the other lane massively and drive around them if possible

You would wouldn't get that right on your driving test pal, 1.5m minimum. Have to question how many people understand this while driving and wonder why cyclists get upset/ride in a manner to protect themselves.

I have been isolating since march and have just recently started getting out again, think lockdown has made car drivers less patient towards cyclists

I passed in 98 driving test at 11.20am

man was cruising with his elbow outa window, one hand on steerin wheel in his mini Metro by 1pm

by the same token i think some cyclists are now showing a total disregard for their own safety on the road and that of others off road .

Last week i was stopped at a roundabout waiting to turn left with traffic behind me just as i was pulling off a cyclist flew past having come flat out with his head down .If i didn't have a 1.4 auto which accelerates slightly slower than your average snail they would have been splattered all over the road .

I agree, I have had the misfortune to ride with some cycling ****ers. Mainly the ones who commute. But your 40 plus fat men in lycra are usually wanting a safe ride for a coffee and cake and to show off the £5k carbon bike they ride for 3 months a year.

If I get into a bump because of my error, i can accept that. But getting clipped by someone who coudln't wait 15 seconds for a clear pass, they can go **** themselves.

£5K for a bike is bonkers .
Get a good one for £1,000.

tbh £1k will probs only get you a decent entry bike these days. Depends whether it's a road bike or MTB but most of the quality stuff starts around the £1500+ mark.

Santa Cruz have just released an e-bike that costs £12k ffs <laugh>
