They’ve pretended to withdraw apparently, and have suckered their actual partners in the deal, the bloke they were buying off, plus the U.K. PM into believing their con. As they’ve not really withdrawn, they’ve just clearly said they have, and the PL aren’t expected to have believed them, so it still sits with them or something.

It’s genius stuff.
