Football needs to go back to how it was pre 1992. No money, average wages, people playing for the love of the game and clubs existing for the communities they serve.
Thinking about heading up Saturday myself to be honest. Black and White flares outside belting out "Richard Masters - we're coming for you".
They won't if it's not either mate They don't have to. The 100k petition will just get a mention in parliament and they'll say its not their business but " there there newcastle fans maybe the process needs a revamp" It's a complete waste of time all this mate
That won't happen... The government don't want to get involved.. They couldn't give a **** because the investment would be up here.. They don't want that.
I don't know I can think of at least two non Newcastle fans who seem to be getting very uptight about it.
True I think there's some small concern as much a there is a small hope.. I don't see anything happening now... We've heard no indication from PIF they're back in abs and the only sources saying they have are the likes of Steve wraith and Liam sweeney who took up an ITK position and were declaring it was done no matter how many red flags were presented to them.. One was even mocking anyone that doubted it was happening..
Pity this fella wasn't still in power ie the one on the left!(no pun intended)lol please log in to view this image
Don't think there was a pun to be fair Mick. Blair was more right wing than half of the Tory Prime Ministers in the last 60 years.
I am not sure where you are getting this from. As far as I can see each club holds the same number of shares (1) in PL Ltd and retains that for the period that they are in the PL. On relegation they transfer it to a team coming up as requested. Each of the clubs has equal voting rights. The clubs agree the breakdown and distribution of revenue from broadcasting - the only bias towards the big clubs might be that more of their games will be shown on TV so they get a larger share of the Facility Fee. Maybe the big clubs can use their muscle to have influence on the distribution of revenues by threatening to leave and form a Super League of some sort so lower teams vote with them as they are scared revenues would drop if the big teams leave as likes of Sky would not be as interested in PL.
Got an email reply back from the office of my MP :- I suspect that email might have been copied and pasted a few times
