It's something done by a fan group to bring supporters together, a sign of unity, backing the team, showing your true colours.
I'm not suggesting the club should shower the trust with millions of pounds but 1 line of acknowledgement would have been nice.

'Backing the team'?,people touting it on here(generally) have cancelled their direct debits? Unity with whom or what? It's unifying people against attending and it's actually dividing support!!

It's to bring unity and show a united front to those who are attending and those who are not currently attending, it's literally the whole purpose of the thing.

Shows I guess that, no matter what is tried from whatever side, Hullovaguy is at least right when saying ..... " ....We have an irreconcilable issue between club and fans and it’s going to destroy us". That seems to me the simple reality of where we find ourselves.

It was basically a letter to confirm that they're sticking with McCann. It appears that the agreement between themselves and McCann is that they are equally as **** as each other, so what's the point in changing?
The telling moments will be when we lose our best players for L1, having been relegated from the Championship having lost our best players for that division too...

I think the people who have cancelled their memberships have generally said so - there's been a few. The people that haven't cancelled are much less likely to say so, and there are many more of them I would say (including me). But the whole purpose of the ribbon thing is to give all people something to unite around as fans. f the club got on board as well, that would be incredibly powerful (I'm ultra realistic about that though).

Fast forward to 2022.
Dear supporter,
Well what a crock of **** that turned out to be. (snigger...snigger)
We had high hopes for the season, but the 5-0 opening day disaster at Colchester told us it was going to be a tough season and that league two had many talented sides.
Terry McCant was convinced he could put the relegation from league one behind him and get us back at the first time of asking.
Off the pitch we did some good business. We sold top striker Arthur Brain to Grimsby for £10k
We look forward to next season in the National League and look forward to the challenge.
