He’s proven to not worry about price tags if the player is the right quality but I reckon that we’re only being mentioned to drive the price/player deal up for Utd. It happens a lot these days.
Yes I think it does, I'm not sure we are interested at all anyway because of the asking price. Hypothetical, but JK may see it as...is Sancho worth say £60m?
...yeah........is he worth £80m?........hmmm..........is he worth the reported £100m?..........no, deffo not so we look elsewhere.

I think I'm more concerned about the age of our first team than any particular area. We Kerri getting told it's a young team and it just isn't. Take Trent and Gomez away and they're all 28 or 29 with Hendo in his 30s

You can’t judge Sancho based on his performances for England otherwise you’d say Trent is worth peanuts given how average he plays for England. It’s about style and tactics.

southgate is a boring coach who in the WC could only score from set pieces.

This is very true, we should be looking at replacements, maybe not to start this season, but certainly next.

We don't want a situation where we have to replace the entire front 3 at the same time.

style of play firmino plays he could well do the job for another 4-5 years to be fair. The other two will struggle once pace goes so may only have another 2/3 years in them.

Auba is 31 and still banging thrm in and has his pace and Vardy is 33 and doing the same so maybe with the way modern players training and fitness is, the peak for those fast pacey players is being extended a bit?

True, but I'd hope in 2/3 years we'd have 2 of the front 3 more or less replaced.

I cant imagine in 3 years with the front 3 being 31 the press would be up to much. We play much more energetic for want of a better word than arsenal or Leicester.

Its funny but two years ago, I was with everyone else, we have a young team, but look at it today and its not so much.

If we don't get younger lads in, the team will need wholesale changes all at once and we know where that leads. I really don't want to hear the term rebuilding to do with us anytime soon.

Liverpool needn't be worried by big-money Premier League transfer, who will not shift title needle
Man City have all-but wrapped up a deal for Spanish youngster Ferran Torres. Will the move push Pep Guardiola's side closer to Jurgen Klopp's?

I can smell your fear mate. Don't let it eat you, you are now back among the big boys (at least this season).

Liverpool chiefs are keeping a keen eye on Arsenal youngster Folarin Balogun, with the Gunners holding out for £8million for the teenage midfielder. Balogun has been catching the eye of multiple clubs this season, and is believed to be Championship side Brentford's top target in the upcoming transfer window.

Liverpool reportedly target Konstantinos Tsimikas at bargain £7m price
Liverpool reportedly remain interested in a deal to sign Olympiakos defender Kostantinos Tsimikas this summer, according to reports in Greece.
The Reds have an outstanding left-back option in the form of Andrew Robertson but the strength in depth in that position has often been called into question.
Now it seems as though Tsimikas might be the answer

The team has evolved almost entirely since JK took over, and never once has it felt like a "rebuild" - just a steady improvement. He and the owners have replaced incrementally and judiciously wherever needed - bringing in outsiders and youngsters where appropriate, so I can't see them suddenly abandoning that policy.
I'm not accusing you of this, but many fans in the modern era seem to think a team is stagnating if it doesn't bring in a constant stream of big names, but I don't think that is necessary. Compare our policy and our record in the Klopp era to Man U over the same period.
I trust us to do what's necessary to keep competing, with careful improvement and a sound business model.
