I was at Pocklington from 1947-57 and played on both the Rugby and Cricket teams. Don't ever remember losing to Hymers. We were never allowed to kick a "soccer" ball around though.

And I'm sure the same quote popped into my mind the last time I read it.
I'd have to go back in time to check it though.

Loved my old school days especially at high school where my favourite subjects were sport and boys.
School champion in the former and a pass in the latter.
