Mushrooms? C'mon now, that's going to overpower the rest of the dish. The rest I'm fine with but I use pecorino as it melts a bit better. You need some finely ground black pepper in there.

it’s not a traditional, Tesco didn’t have pecorino, it has pepper. Plate makes the dish.

I'm sure it tastes nice and it looks nice but can't have mushrooms in carbonara, much better than the ridiculous effort from Ginge.

mushrooms just soaked up all the delicious smokey bacon goodness. Plus they were going bad so needed to be used. Needed a little more pasta water.

It's like a shepards pie, but with diced beef instead of mince.

Carrots broccoli onion (no sweetcorn) few erbs and spices, cheese, tomatoes and scotch bonnet slices on top.

    Needed more mash tbh

IMHO you fooked it up by putting the mash on top, I would have served them seperately. Broccoli at first seemed a strange one to add, but then I thought nah it's perfectly ok, especially as I like broccoli...well I like all my greens. So overall good idea, but because of final presentation 3/10. But my opinion don't count, so just ignore it bro.
