Isn't it nice that all the negative PR is over that side of the water. We are trundling along serendly with little or no trouble. If it wasn't for Nile we'd have a clean bill of health at present. They've taken great delight in our trials and tribulations, whether it be players misbehaving or our despicable owner. Now the shoe is firmly on the other foot. Their crowd is split down th emiddle on fat head, they are in horrific form and can't pass the football, they've got square pegs in round holes and haven't filled the gaps in the transfer market, there's unrest left right and centre among support, their star striker has fecked off to the UAE because he disliked Sunderland so much, their centre half is in hot water, they're in fecking turmoil! You could say they're a bit of a laughing stock at present...............

What is they say about stones and glass houses?

Niall Quinn showing Asamoah around the region:

Quinn - And here we have the National Glass Centre....
Asamoah - Do you keep money there?
Quinn - Er not quite Asamoah, its a centre of national excellence supporting the production, education, presentation and enjoyment of contemporary glass.
Asamoah - So where is the money kept?
Quinn - Its really quite an important point of tourism in the region Asamoah, the locals take great pride in it. You should really think about trying to soak it all up and gain an understanding of the region. You'll settle better.
Asamoah - Will you pay me more if I do?
Quinn - I can tell money is quite important to you Asamoah but you really need to settle and I'm just trying to suggest things which may help you understand the area.
Asamoah - I'll take that as a yes, how much?

I feel exactly the same. Although I do have some sympathy for some of the decent ones that we get on here.

Oh aye I sympathise, we know what's its like. I just can't help but be pleased its them and not us. Having a truely clueless manager is a nightmare. We had Fat Sam, who would make exactly the same mistakes. Bad buys, confusing selection and tactics, with a manager with a persona easy to dislike. Its not nice and can be torturous. You want to back them but you just know its never gonna work and just descends into chaos.

Yeah, things are pretty bad on the pitch and then one of the players gets arrested, sounds familiar.

Like you said, I am glad that it is their turn.

I believe this is very possible. It was the main argument fans used to defend Michael Jackson.

There are other things to consider though. If I was in that situation personally I would take it to court without hesitation. Mainly because that would be the right, honest thing to do. Paying people off will invite more trouble, more suspicion and more incentive to slappers that want to play that game, IMHO.

There's a certain amount of sense involved in keeping out of those situations all together IE not hanging around with crack-whores. :)

Karma, my friend - act resposibly and you mitigate these situations naturally.

If you show yourself to be a creditable person (which is very much required if you wish to enter the lime-light and not have trouble) then you instantly gain an upper-hand if the prosecutions client is shown to be disreputable in any way. Titus however, has left himself in a situation where he is not very respected and 'fits the bill' very nicely.

So while I personally say innocent until proven guilty, I perfectly understand other peoples willing acceptance that he did do it.

Also worth noting that the "justice system" is highly flawed and proving these things beyond reasonable doubt is very much an up-hill struggle.

One last.. If he was caught in posession, then he has shown clearly to any court that he has no regard for the law or the sociaety that endorsed those laws. Why should he act differently where another law is concerned?

    <ok>

Find it a bit ridiculous for you to say that because 'he was caught in in possession'he would have no regard for other laws, personally a like to have meself a nice joint now and then, the thought of sexually assaulting or raping someone has never crossed my mind. Going by your logic that would make, i'd say being very generous here 75% of drivers in this country have no respect for laws or society, as we've all sped or driven without a seat belt on, thus breaking a law

lol in the view of the court, that's what the prosecution would argue and generally the view taken by the courts.

I could/may/may not/possibly/probably not/probably be partial to the lighter end of something unmentions myself :)

Also, I don't think that forgetting to put your seatbelt on is a fair comparison to actively choosing to purchase and consume an illegal, class A, substance.
