This. They could have had £2m plus for Henriksen. Ehab played the big man, ****ed Henriksen around and the deal evaporated. I'm sure in Ehab's head he thinks he was messed around by the player, his agent, the French club, Philip Schofield, whatever. In truth, he's an incompetent who ****ed up and lost £2m.

Why didn't they make a proper apology?

In their other lines of activity they manage to do alright as business men and people. Their charitable donations are generally well received and don't piss off the recipients. Not heard any big stories of Allam Marine falling out with their customers, competitors or workers.

It's only at Hull City where everything turns to **** and ends in a fight. There are so many things they have done which could have been sorted amicably but oh no can't be doing that.

Looks to me like it is a personal vendetta, petty, vindictive childish ****s they are.

The cost cutting will continue.
They'll continue to draw interest on their 'gift'.
The asking price will continue to be around the same.
They will believe that with their magic formula, be it the current one or a new latest one, they can be successful in L1, bringing us exciting football and play offs minimum.
They might sack McCann, but on the other hand I wouldn't be in the least bit surprised if they stick with him. If they do, we can only hope that he (McCann) and Enob have learnt some harsh lessons from this season, and bring in the missing experience, steel, leadership, etc, then we might even have half a chance in L1. If they haven't learnt the lessons and don't bring in what's missing then we'll really struggle again, quite possibly even ending in anothe relegation. However, I do think it will be the former and we'll do ok (as even they can't be that stupid ... errm, or can they?).
Support will be further decimated due to the fall to L1 and the Allams still being here. The club will remain toxic.
There will be some staged media interviews where Enob will pretend to extend olive branches etc etc. but it will be mainly just more bullshit and lies as the owners just can't help themselves; that's just the way they are, arrogant twats especially Enob who actually isn't that bright - but some will fall for it.
The vast majority of fans will, rightly, continue to want the Allams out of the club so that a more positive new era can begin. It won't happen.

How will they be able to draw interest on a business losing money,if that is the case? Maybe the costs will outstrip the revenue.

Has anyone on here got any benchmark or ballpark figures of revenue in League 1 and how much it will cost to run the club? That way we can maybe start discussing the impact of relegation and assessing the Allams options,any discussions based with absolutely no facts to hand is absolutely pointless.

Sell some of our current players and replace them with who,at what cost and on what salary?

It seems to me that everyone has fixed their focus on us not even being able to put players on the pitch?

Small change to the £100 + million they could have had for the club but for deciding they wanted more at the last minute... A £50 million plus profit looks like turning into a £10's of million loss.... all handled expertly by 4 GCSE's boy...

I'll add to that the only figures I could find available which related to 2017/2018.

Championship revenue from the football league approx £7 million.

League 1 revenue from the football league £1.4 million.Add on £30 k for a televised match( obviously that might be tricky if we sell all our players),£10 k gate money from each away match,ticket revenue,shirt sponsorship,shirt sales( mmmmmmmm?).

If this was some sort of deliberate attempt of cutting off one's nose to spite one's face then it wasn't very clever was it?

The average revenue for clubs in the 2018/9 season, Championship - 33 million and League1 - 8 million.

Last years accounts had the wage bill at about 25 million. Ehab in a recent interview stated the players were on a 50% reduction in the case of relegation, also many high earners have since left the club. Even this years accounts wage cost will be distorted by those high earners, so as to how much? I have no idea.

The no **** sherlock moment, League 1 clubs are very dependent on match day revenue. With no restart announced for this league, never mind with a crowd in attendance, the membership scheme temporarily suspended, the bank of papa shut, and hey ho, as the Game of Thrones saying goes, if you thought this had a happy ending, you haven't been paying attention.

It is the only sizeable money coming in right now. It will pay the bills.

This years accounts will show if the debt has been reduced, and by how much. Using the Bowen money to pay it off, or part of, only takes cash out of the club better used to pay the bills.

Which,in a round about way absolves the owners of the asset stripping allegation that's so often flung around?
