There did seem to be an unhealthy interest in BLM.

I once had a massive row with a Durham lad on RTG about the Chinese.

I had a few complaints but he wouldn't tolerate any criticism whatsoever. I only ever posted my honest views and eventually he had to accept that slaughtering rhinos, because the horn looks a bit like an erect penis, was totally ridiculous.

We accepted our differences, met up at Tottenham away and have been good mates ever since. He came to the Sheikh's house where he was welcomed like a visiting Prince.

It turned out he's married to a lovely Chinese lass who came with him and we all had a wonderful day.

The thought remains that people will defend anything that's linked to a loved one ...

And there you have it. The ability to debate, and see things from both sides.
Something the BLM movement does not have at all. And that's why it will always cause friction and divides. Side note. Lovely new statue, but could someone tell me what this woman has ever done for Bristol? Eddy C's philianthropism is greatly responsible for building hospitals & schools in the city, but we don't need educating about his sort in 2020 do we.

Any of you boys follow Akkad Daily on YouTube? Worth a look.
He does not like the wokeness that is consuming this country.

He had plenty to say, was an asset to the board and was quite educated ...

... but what a tedious arrogant bore.

The UK is continually tarred, with the BLM brush, as being another USA ...

... absolute bollocks that destroys their argument.

FFS grow up and people might take you seriously.

I dont agree with everything he says, but he only gave his views and isn't that the point to a forum?

He's been called all sorts on this thread, most recently a C**T, and nothing was done about that.

If you keep banning people because they have different views to the majority, we will end up with a very boring forum.

Nothing he said was to purposely disrupt the board, he only responded back and fourth in a reasonable fashion to other posters.

To be honest, the only person that should be removed from their position is yourself.

Your here to moderate a forum, to stop abuse etc. Not ban people because they are not liked by some, or have a different opinion.

Kittens put a lot of time into the takeover, to help other posters understand the situation, and was a benefit to this board.

He wasn't reasonable like. He'd put forward his own views as if they were the truth carved in stone and point blank refuse to deal with any criticisms he got. He's also accused folks on this thread of being rascist as well as insinuating some posters are racists without actually naming them. And when some folk retaliate for being preached at by him, he cries the victim card.

He was the most boring, contradictory person the board. Suspect borderline autistic judging by his complete inability to see any possible validity in anything which did not conform to his own theories. And insanely repetitive.

He wasn't borderline mate, he was a fully paid up member of the club (and admitted it) but then reported anyone who referenced it!

I totally agree that it's never good to see people banned but this fella virtually banned himself and I'm very pleased to see the back of him. I'm speaking entirely for myself here.

You may not realise this but he relentlessly followed me around, tagged me and targeted every thread I was on, almost every post. Ive tried everything to shake him off but he's totally obsessed with 'smug'.

I stopped posting but he kept tagging me, he teamed up with Shameless to attack me, mocked my religion while defending 'civil rights', he even continually attacked me on RTG knowing I don't post on there.

He put his views, I'm not denying that, but it was done in a way to cause arguments that turned threads into slanging matches. His responses were inevitably condescending and increasingly insulting. He was asked by @Gordon Armstrong, openly on the forum, to reign it in, then told to, then banned for a short period. As soon as he was back he launched straight into the same routine, even worse tbh.

I've no idea what's happened, between him and the Mods, but I'm pleased I can look at the forum without endless alerts from him tbh. I've had a few stalkers, in my time, but this was weirdly obsessive and slightly unnerving tbh ... plus he was really boring.

He continually tried to have me banned so I guess 'you reap what you sow' in this case.

I think that's uncalled for mate.

Gordon does a good job on here, far better than other mods on other boards.

The problem the way i see it with KM was that whilst he pretty much demanded that people see his point of view he refused to acknowledge anyone elses. I'm all for having different opinions but people should always be willing to listen to others, he unfortunately either wouldn't or couldn't.

If you look at his comment history, and there are 2000 of them in 9 months, almost every single one of them is argumentative. I am not convinced he was actually expressing opinions, he was simply trying to have arguments. If you said it was day-time, he would point out that it was actually night-time on the other side of the world and then defend that view all day (or night, depending on time zone). He was that sort of person. Very tedious.

I don't, necessarily, agree, I think he just craved (and got off on) attention.

It didn't seem to matter if the attention was positive or negative just as long as it was forthcoming.
