What I find funny is he should be ticking all the boxes. Everyone said they were against racism, just hated the BLM politics, so he distanced himself from that and stuck to just the racism, as a personal expression. He didn't demand anyone else do anything, he was grateful when they did. He was polite and he was willing to compromise. He didn't force anyone to do anything they didn't want to do.
And still people have a problem, because while they claim to be against racism, they have more problem with people making even the smallest gesture than they do any one specific instance of racism.
I can't take smug seriously after he suggested black people might just naturally not make good football managers, yet claims to not see colour and treat people equally. Either we are all equal, or black people naturally may not make good football managers.
