I would think any "deal.... done" isn't contractually finalised and the buyer, or seller, could find reason to pull out before the window opens and any deal finalised.

No idea how it works, but I'd have thought it possible - for sake of argument - for Eze, QPR and Spurs to sign a deal now, which is binding, with the player registration only switching when the window opens. Or is that banned? Genuinely not sure, just assumed you could.

No, I don't know either mate. Just guessing any agreement cannot be completely signed, sealed and delivered until the window opens

The twittersphere has a rumour that Sheffield United has bid £24 million for Eze (which may include some sort of Freeman part). So maybe the bidding is not over on the Eze front. He has not looked a £20 million players since the restart...and that is from one of his biggest fans.

I still feel it is a lethargy of nothing to play for, which is not converted into a we cannot get anything right. Plus not having a CF of any sort in the penalty box for the creative players to play towards.
According to Warburton, we are due to see the Danish CF, who we signed in March play soon.....that came as a surprise to you all didnt it.

17 Mar 2020 - QPR have completed the signing of young Danish striker Marco Ramkilde on a free transfer, subject to international clearance.

Ramkilde has had a hamstring injury I think, and Warburton said he was further away from playing than Wallace before.

I've heard he's the next Alan Shearer. At least that's what the voices in my head are saying.

I'd snap your hand off for £20m and Freeman back!

Arguably this could be our most important transfer window in a very long time.

We have two players who should still go for a decent amount of ££ as there is competition for their signatures.

We have also drastically cut the wage bill in recent years.

We're starting to prove that we give players a chance and sell them on to PL clubs (Freeman, Eze, BOS, even McCarthy or Furlong).

The dynamics of the market have shifted and there will be a lot of free agents out there and downward pressure on both wages and transfer fees.

I don't think we'll see a good set of circumstances like this again for a little while, so no pressure MW, LF and LH...
We'll see tonight. If Eze especially doesnt up his game, it will be hard to see really big offers coming in for him especially with the Covid situation. Fine with me, we should look to build again round Eze and BOS, and hope Manning and Chair pick up form again so we can sell them this summer, to raise more funds to bring in more hight and muscle in midfield and CB, a left back, and a couple of strikers on loan if necessary.

If is almost a Catch 22 situation with Eze, BOS and possibly Manning. Play well and with passion, and you may get injured and no big transfer. Play cautiously to avoid an injury before a big transfer, and you are perceived to be poor and off form.

As I’ve said before, MW made it plain that he wasn’t happy for football to return after lockdown. When you have a Manager say that it permeates through the team.
They clearly weren’t prepared, probably not fit and mentally still at home.
Seems no coincidence that the Managers opinions have morphed into a poor set of results!

I think Warburton just wanted another week or so training. But they have had that now and we are getting worse, based on Wigan and SW. I think the decisions to cut cost by not keeping Hall and Pugh, not getting in proper back up for Hugill, furloughing the U23's and apparently the Keeper coach, not getting the squad as fit and ready as the opposition, were probably taken by Ferdinand and Hoos, and demotivated the players showing there was no real ambition to go for a top 6 place. No excuse though for being repeatedly incapable of making a 10 yard pass.

Oslo I would happily take £20 million and Freeman back to be honest (but dont tell Sheff United just yet)
Eze has not been back to his best since lockdown
He was better again last night, after he got a knock on the chest I thought.

I see speculation on possible cash transfers from the club.

As we are to be a "selling" club, who do you think will realistically will go?

I can see the following:

#1 Eze (estimated at 95% probability)
#2 BOS (estimated at 70% probability)
#3 Manning (estimated at 30% probability)

If we could get 35+ mill for the lot it would be a great deal.

I'd be happy with Manning for 30% of the £35 + million, keep the other 2, and use the £ 10 million + to get a striker, a tough, quick midfielder, a big mother of a CB and a LB who can defend.

So would I - but unfortunately, I fear it will not be realistic.

Question; When did QPR get what us fans feel was a fair price for one of our players? I seriously cannot remember the last time we made a sale for a fee we thought was enough!
The sad facts in all this is that we have a rebuilding job to do. You want bright young stars as the real building blocks to base that development on. Sadly we are going to sell off all those bright starlets and we will be left with an ageing bunch of very mediocre footballers. We find ourselves having to scrimp and save and to be honest with you guys Warburton seems to have very little about him when it comes to playing the transfer market.
I wish I could be more positive but next season will surely once again be based around the has beens and pretty limited loanees. I dread to think what the average age of our squad will be once Eze, BOS and Manning have departed. Chair has been pretty dissapointing in my opinion and the other youngsters really do not seem up to Championship standard.

Darnell Furlong and Alex McCarthy spring to mind for me.

I doubt that we'd get more than £20m for all 3

We only got £4m for Austin - a proven goal scorer in the Championship - and even allowing for inflation and age of our players I just don't see them going for (for us) mega money
