I was thinking of the past players Bruce has sold, and who he has bought... and I have thought to my self, the majority of players he has sold would walk into our present team.
Now I am not going to include players who were on loan and who we couldn't keep...

but players that were wrongly sold, and players we could of kept by maybe paying a little more in wages...

...................Gordon............
O'Shea....Ferdinand...Brown...Bardsley
Henderson...Cana...Catts......Steed
.........Jones.....Bent.......

I know we can't change the past, but how good would that team be if we fought to keep our good players???

If you were to keep players..who would you keep and how would your team but put out??
 
Cant argue the point you make AJM, but theres a lot more water to go under Wear Bridge yet, and under Bruces watch we could lose a lot more players, then the next manager has to pick up the bits, with probs no money, like Mick Mc, then we will have the rose tinted ****e of, LETS PUSH ON NEXT SEASON BOLLOCKS............................................................................................AGAIN
 
Better than what you have now but only because of Bent.

Bramble is ****e but hes better than Ferdinand was, Steed was in his day one of my favourite players but he was getting on a bit when he left.

Henderson is ****e and has proved this at Liverpool, the money you got for him was criminal.

Jones is hardly a goal machine either.

Think its almost the same in quality as we have now except Bent and Gordon, not great, good enough for mid table with a bit of luck
 
Maddison, don't you mean "Could HAVE been " basic English language son, don't worry, I still blame the teachers, especially at South Hylton.
