I'm all for opinion, that's what this is all about right? What I'm not alright about is the hunt in pack mentality that exists at times on these threads!! I don't tell people to **** off, label people as snowflakes, nazi's,racists or homophobes if I'm not happy with what they're saying. What does it actually prove becoming aggressive and insulting on a football forum? Nothing. And I do understand differing opinion so that's not an issue.
What Quill said. There is a very good reason why people disagree with you. It's because you are so very very wrong.

I haven't been to a home game in four years. Before that I barely missed a game since I was seven years old. I'm 55 now.

You tell me I'm not a 'real fan'.

OK

I think you should maybe scan back through the thread?I haven't accused anybody of not being a 'fan'.You're posting to the wrong person.

My opinion is....for what its worth is you stick by your team whatever the circumstances, owners, players, managers come and go.,....some we like, some we hate, but its in our blood to support hull city ,so for me those who stay away are not genuine..!would they have stayed away if we were still in the premier league?.....probably not,,...so do me a favour "fans" and stay away....

How’s the combi boiler advice thread coming along?

We need as many city fans as we can muster. Anyway the alternative isnt that appealing to me,
Gardening ,decorating. You just can't beat a few beers then off to the match. I'm no allam fan, but we were in the sh1te when they turned up and we are in the sh1te now. They will go eventually, to be replaced by some other rich owner, who didn't get rich by been a decent bloke. Those of you who stay away just aren't helping at all

Time i ****ed off away from you pretentious ****s on here,if you don't fit in with the little clique on here or agree with everything mr knobhead himself says, you get slaughtered,so you are welcome to each other on here, from a proper city fan

Serious question. I haven't got nothing at all against people who still go to games. Try and answer this though, what makes you more of a genuine fan than someone like me? Because many on here still go to games. I do ask in all seriousness though.

Excellent post

l’m just north of Cambridge and it’s 250 mile round trip for me. Maybe QC was south of Cambridge?

I Actually lived in Fen Drayton then picked my son up from Histon. By the time is finished buggering about it was just short of 350. Then if I had time I'd get fish& chips from Harry Jackson's on Rosmead st, well worth the trip. :emoticon-0105-wink:

I've met a few fans over the years who live elsewhere these days.including the fella who travelled up from Portsmouth every game and we used to sit behind a bloke who lived in london,he was as enthusiastic as it gets and it rubs off on other fans.
City fans always make feel feel good ,but you expat fans are simply the best.
