Footage of the vehicle being driven before the stop, in this video, I cannot see any reason why the following events occurred. Going by the police version of events, it leaves questions of what happened before the camera started rolling, and why when looking after the baby, clearly seen in the vid, was she videoing out of the back window, two sides to every story, still none the wiser...

I listened to her interview on the radio this morning, they were being followed for no apparent reason apart from the obvious, BUT then they shot a red light as it changed, got tugged but didn’t stop immediately as they chose to pull up outside their house. So I’m not sure this is a great example of anything more than racial profiling tbh. I think the fact her fella had been pulled about 15 times since buying the Merc didn’t help like.

Did you see the one the day before, with the fella who was literally on his way home from giving a media interview about Police stopping him for no other reason than he was black in a nice motor? They smashed his window and were totally OTT.

The police claimed they were driving on the wrong side of the road. I saw nothing as such, in that video, prior to the stop. However, albeit it certainly is an OTT reaction, I'm a little suspicious why the camera is rolling at the point, it's like she was expecting something to happen. She said in the interview they were followed, I'm guessing that's why the camera rolled, but it therefore does not show what happened prior.

From what I understand, they DIDN'T jump a red, the LBC presenter misunderstood, they turned BEFORE the red, as I understood it. Bascially they were trying to get home quickly, as they knew all the short cuts, due to the babies needs, not exact words but roundabout what the mum meant.

Edit; No I didn't see the one the other day?

The video suggests to me that something serious happened before the stop, like the failure to stop and driving off at speed suggestion. I can't see anyway that there are that many police officers and that kind of reaction unless something happened.

Maybe I'm out of touch though and that is the kind of reaction a black person in a Merc gets in London?

Wow, maybe I am out of touch with it all. I suppose I simply don't see this kind of racism tucked away in the valleys.

Hopefully some more video footage can come forward, to the events that happened prior, maybe via any police onboard cameras.

I hasten to add, I would question, what was the need of handcuffs, especially as a baby would have been clearly visible in the car, so they weren't going anywhere! Commonsense seems to have failed again.

I'm not black, but I used to get producers all the time when I was younger, been stopped and searched a few times, carrying a holdall at night whilst riding a bike seems to be suspicious.

He should've just got out of the car, you learn from your mistakes, I did, althogh it only dawned on me years later if I'd put £25 in my passport they would've just let me go.

It’s been like that for donkeys years mate. I remember being pulled on foot just walking through town with a black mate of mine. We got lobbed in the back of the riot van, I was showed to a seat, but they made my mate sit on the floor, and proceeded to racially abuse him. I piped up and called them ****s, and got a massive leather gloved hand in my grid. The ****s then locked us both up for D&D - we weren’t pissed - and the custody office wrote ‘too drunk to sign’ on the custody form, right in front of my face, as they charged me. Racism and the filth is nothing new.

It just seems these cops are hell bent on policing with force. When I was a lad, it was policing with consent - ok they want to check my car, let them do it, and we all move on. The difference being I suppose I'm white, and I wasn't subject to the same level of frequency of stops. You don't mind the once, but if it keeps happening, especially in the manner demonstrated in that video, it only creates divisions, between community and policing.

When I was in my early thirties I was stopped on the A1 at 7-30am by two female traffic cops (looking like a couple of ladyboys)
When I asked why they had stopped me they said it was to have a look at my MGBGT
