There’s no such thing as racism these days mate. You’re a racist if you think there is.
Woke apparently mate. It’s the new virtue signaller - the one which they lobbed out if you dared mention the plight of refugees without having one living in your spare room.

Woke is now the new cover all for seemingly anyone who gives a **** about inequality.

That’s all well and good, but do you have a German car and wear Adidas?

I've had BMWs, Audis and a Merc in my lifetime ... I now drive a Mazda as it's not a company car ... I do have a pair of Adidas trainers although, I seem to prefer Nike ... I'm fond of German sausage ...

I don't judge people by the colour of their skin or by anything their ancestors did ...

My mum bought a German Christmas cake last year. She’s forgiven them at last.

I don’t think she has actually got over the Blitz, anymore than I’ve got over Franz Beckenbauer and Gerd Muller in 1970, but eventually you have to let bygones be bygones.

I notice there’s no statues of Herman Goering or Rommel in Berlin though. Probably for the best.

Nope. The claim you made and I highlighted. The one where you stated as fact that his killing was racially motivated.

Take your time sunshine :emoticon-0148-yes:

Only Derek Chauvin would be able to answer that for sure but he doesn't come across as your typical equal rights evangelist ...

So you think George Floyd's race was incidental to what happened to him?

KDEN <ok>

It’s a minor miracle anyone knows who they are when you consider that.

You stated it as fact. All I've done is ask you to back your claim with facts.

Spin away. I can wait.....

I stated it as an opinion ... although it is an opinion based in the 'factors' of his death ... no spin
So you don't think race had anything to do with it then?

Here's a question for anyone, that might be able to answer. There was once a phrase said, it went, 'Racism is in the eye of the beholder.'

Now I know it was related to 'Jungle Book' or an adaption of it, probably something within the lyrics, sung by Louis Prima, be interested to know, what that was all about, hopefully the following links all work, I just can't make out, what the first one is trying to tell me...

Now I'm the king of the swingers, the jungle V.I.P
I reached the top and had to stop
And that's what bothering me
I want to be a man, man-cub, and stroll right into town
And be just like those other men
I'm tired of monkeying around
Now don't try to kid me, man-cub, I'll make a deal with you
What I desire is man's red fire to make my dreams come true
So give me the secret, man-cub, clue me what to do
Give me the power of man's red flower so I can be like you
Ooh-bi-doo, I wan'na be like you
I want to walk like you, talk like you, too
You see it's true, an ape like me
Can learn to be like you, too
Now don't try to kid me, man-cub, I made a deal with you
What I desire is man's red fire to make my dream's come true
So give me the secret, man-cub, clue me what to do
Give me the power of man's red flower so I can be like you
Ooh-bi-doo, I wan'na be like you
I want to walk like you, talk like you, too
You see it's true, an ape like me
Can learn to be like you, too
Break it down boys, break it down boys, break it down
Break it down boys, break it down boys, break it down
Now I'm the king of the swingers, the jungle V.I.P.

Driving on the wrong side of the road failed to stop and drove off at speed. But the police are racist?
I fully support BLM and feel that people throwing accusations around like this when they are clearly in the wrong harm the movement.

I suppose I should add that in the modern world we have to take into account that the police may well be telling fibs about what happened though.

Footage of the vehicle being driven before the stop, in this video, I cannot see any reason why the following events occurred. Going by the police version of events, it leaves questions of what happened before the camera started rolling, and why when looking after the baby, clearly seen in the vid, was she videoing out of the back window, two sides to every story, still none the wiser...
