To me, SD looks after his own, so he wouldn't have gotten rid of Reid unless he has either walked himself or there's soon to be no Academy for him to run. Although, I am just a pessimist when it comes to Sunderland nowadays.
If the news of the club withdrawing their input to furlough is true that's shocking. A letter to say they've cut people's pay by 20% is spineless for me unless it's a confirmation letter of a meeting / discussion. Worrying times for the club though, it's becoming more and more apparent that there is a distinct lack of cash flow (naturally considering the current climate). If only there was £20m of parachute payments still in the coffers to help ease the concerns...
