Not true, we can do both if set up to play counter-attacking football. If we do that, we can beat Arsenal. They, like us in normal mode, can always be persuaded to over-commit and leave themselves wide open at the back. Can't score, Can't defend - we've got NO CHANCE !
We are indeed missing an in form (insert names of the entire squad here), no-one seems exempt from criticism at this time. Do we have a defense coach by the way? If so, he must be replaced. So many injured in training, something is seriously wrong with the set up.
Agree, but would include Byram and ArronsI think looking at the season as a whole the only player that has surpassed my expectations is Krul. Interestingly a player a lot of fans thought at the start of the season was a weak link.

There was just a hint in DF's post-match interview that, had Stiepermann not tested falsely positive, he would have played on Friday instead of Drmic. It would have put a quite different complexion on the intended tactics. Nobody would have supposed we were setting up 4:4:2 rather than 4:2:3:1, and it would also explain why players like Emi and Todd, essential cogs in our passing machine, looked like little boys lost for most of the game. If Stiepermann had played, we would have fielded a side very similar to the side that played against Man City (the most notable, and costly, difference being the choice of Trybull instead of Tettey). This might or might not be controversial, but I really think we are missing an in-form Stiepermann at number 10
Louis Lomas is the eligible academy option, I think? He's been training with the senior team. But to drop him in vs Arsenal would be quite the baptism of fire. Nizet, Bushiri, Famewo, Raggett, Richards, Odusina all ineligible.
