Are my cards in the post,or do I only get the lesser games like Everton on Wed next?

Back 5 picks itself due to availability, but what do people want to see in front of them?

I think I'd be tempted to go 4-3-3, with Tettey, Vrancic and McLean in the middle, Cantwell and Onel supporting Pukki. Emi didn't do enough for me to keep his place, would rather see an out-and-out winger. Easy to bring him on when behind and transition to 4-2-3-1

Lets wait and see what happens v Everton and Man Utd,before drawing any conclusions.

Can't score, Can't defend - we've got NO CHANCE !
Not true, we can do both if set up to play counter-attacking football. If we do that, we can beat Arsenal. They, like us in normal mode, can always be persuaded to over-commit and leave themselves wide open at the back.

We are indeed missing an in form (insert names of the entire squad here), no-one seems exempt from criticism at this time. Do we have a defense coach by the way? If so, he must be replaced. So many injured in training, something is seriously wrong with the set up.

I think looking at the season as a whole the only player that has surpassed my expectations is Krul. Interestingly a player a lot of fans thought at the start of the season was a weak link.

Agree, but would include Byram and Arrons

This might or might not be controversial, but I really think we are missing an in-form Stiepermann at number 10
There was just a hint in DF's post-match interview that, had Stiepermann not tested falsely positive, he would have played on Friday instead of Drmic. It would have put a quite different complexion on the intended tactics. Nobody would have supposed we were setting up 4:4:2 rather than 4:2:3:1, and it would also explain why players like Emi and Todd, essential cogs in our passing machine, looked like little boys lost for most of the game. If Stiepermann had played, we would have fielded a side very similar to the side that played against Man City (the most notable, and costly, difference being the choice of Trybull instead of Tettey).

Louis Lomas is the eligible academy option, I think? He's been training with the senior team. But to drop him in vs Arsenal would be quite the baptism of fire. Nizet, Bushiri, Famewo, Raggett, Richards, Odusina all ineligible.

More likely I guess would be shifting Lewis to CB, with Stiepermann at LB? Or can Rupp play full back?
