So, we are looking for someone who scored against Cameroon on the 1st of July ? I guess that we are looking at a World Cup match - and all the group matches would be over in June. The only time they have got further was in 1990 when they played England in the knock out phase - but the England scorers then were David Platt and Garry Lineker - so I'm right back to square one <doh>

Sorry.... one of my clues was incorrect! This person was present but did not score.....
 
How far back? Looking back to 2010, the only July matches played by Cameroon that I can find in which they conceded was an AFCON match against Nigeria last year - Iggy scored twice against them.
