This is really quite straightforward with a bit of research.. Last clue.. This staff member does not like consonants
Cheers Yorkie. An obscure question especially for cologne.. Who appeared as a witness for the defence in her own murder trial, testified in favour of the defendant - but saw him found guilty anyway?
I am duly.....confused So - putting two and two together and getting six - could it be a woman who came back to life ? Or somebody who was presumed dead but wasn't - or somebody involved in a mass killing - or a child ? And why obscure for me - in Germany ? Or because you know I expect obscure questions
Two of those scenarios are close to the mark - and to help narrow it down, I have a little personal knowledge of the case. And I know you like obscure questions.
No - local girl vs local man. The local man shared a surname with a Watford and England U20 goalkeeper of the early 60s.
My bad - he was an U18 England player. Played against Nth.Ireland in a Euro U18 final - we ended up with both goalkeepers from the game, Jennings and ....
Nice try, but no. He was charged with manslaughter, not murder - and I don't think we've ever had a goalkeeper named Simpson. The guy in question here was a serial killer.
Aaargh, I think I've messed up with that 'clue' - I just realised that the player I'm thinking of played for Northern Ireland B and he was a winger we signed from Margate in the same era, not a goalie. Better scrap that clue. A better one - the serial killer shares his surname with a former Liberal Australian prime minister of the mid 70's, the one who manipulated the sacking of an ALP prime minister by the queen.
