Here's another one - until I saw Rio's recent tweet, I had no idea brb meant 'Be right back' in social media parlance. I assumed it meant 'Ban red bastards', for some reason. <whistle>

Here's another NASA fact then - golf was not the only sport attempted on the moon: on the same mission Alan Shepherd hit a golf ball for 'Miles and miles' (14), Edgar Mitchell fashioned a javelin from an iron rod to see how far it would travel in one-sixth gravity. He never got around to measuring how far it went though, despite the effort.

I saw a picture the other day of the Mars landrover craft, whatever it's called, looking back on Earth, we was but a mere spec in the sky. I think it's supposed to be rare to catch a shot lot that, due to the dust and crap, that gets circulated around the martian atmosphere, if you call it that.

The 'Blue Dot', taken from the edge of the solar system by one of the Voyagers (can't remember which one) is mind-blowing too. If you ever get a chance to watch In The Shadow Of The Moon (and you're a tad sentimental after four large bourbons as I am) checkout Earthrise, taken by Apollo 8, the first manned mission to the moon. As the crew said, they went to the moon and discovered the Earth. From a time when human beings dared.

I've been to NASA a few times, seen that really slow moving craft in operation that used to carry the shuttles I think it was. Also saw the apollo and rover than landed on the moon. I got to be honest though, i looked at the craft and rover, and my first thought was, no way, that went to the moon and back. It just looks so basic and prehistoric, it made me think the skeptics were right all along.

Get the tear gas and the rubber bullets out please Joe.

I watched one yesterday of a seagull eating a whole rabbit, honestly, it was massive, ****ing incredible.

Then you see those eagles that try to snatch kids.

I’m done, lockdown forever.

I beg to differ mate, this team is a machine you just can't turn off like that.

They'll go for every point left like they've gone for the ones before.
Time to reset all the records now with only one footnote to the season
Only team to beat Liverpool this season Watford 3-0
Only one team to put 3 goals past Liverpool 3 time since Klopp became manager Watford

I see the plastic spastic is still reeling boring stats off, thats exactly how I’d celebrate my team winning their first league title in 30 years.

To be fair it was only 27 for you lot...were you alive in 92?

The Liver buildings next to the Pier Head where the Kopites had decided to gather and gets pissed, is owned by Moshiri and lit blue on a night.

So.....they’ve set fire to it.

Best fans in der Wuuurrld though.

We knew though. Doesn’t matter who they kill by spreading a virus, as long as they can wave their King Kenny flags.

I think we need a Sucky flounce thread...i best not create anymore.

I congratulate Liverpool FC on winning their first ever Premier League title ... that Leicester City achieved this before them, and with a squad that cost 10 times less should in no way detract from what Jurgen the genius and his boys have now managed ... in the season of the asterisk <whistle>
