If you go to Auckland they have (or had, this was 2003) a replica of a raft that carried whole families, indeed villages with livestock, from Hawaii to NZ. In fact, all across the Pacific, right over to what is now Chile. God alone knows how many thousands must have died on those journeys. 'Man must explore', was indeed the motto of Apollo 15. Not unless it's totally safe, it would appear nowadays.

Anyway - stop trying to derail the thread - bestest team ever to win the Prem, and the best looking fans too. Pyrotechnically challenged though. :emoticon-0112-wonde

My personal favourite, the lads nipping to cover a statue wised as a memorial to dead Everton fans wrapped in flag, a cone on it.

You can see the flowers round it, ****ing mongs.

Yeah embarrassing, why is it that people constantly let themselves down? The world is chocca full of idiots. It's a pity that the Coronaviris can't be aimed in the right direction.

Let's remember there are idiot fans in every club though, I don't want to make excuses as I completely agree that the people gathering are idiots but it would be the same at every club imo. It's the group's within that behave they way they do that makes everyone look bad.

Should probably play the rest of your home games in Plymouth, just to make sure.

Good grief, no. Imagine the fit of vapours we'll get from the old maids on here if our fans tie a red scarf around Drake's statue. <wah>

    Kopites being Kopites.

Nothing more than standard. Albeit firing fireworks at the building that carries what sits on your ****ing shirt, because ‘bLuE LiGhTz’ is special even by your spanner fanbases ****ty standards.

You can’t even bring yourself to call it out for what it is. Instead you’ve got to make comments about the number of lights ffs, what an absolute mong.

I suppose that's the consequence of the brain growing up and seeing so many sci-fi movies, where everything has to be the biggest, the best, most technically advanced craft known to man, when in reality, it just needs to be basic, light (for space exploration) and able cope with the forces of science/nature.

Although I still swear that the early Star Trek shows, created the first ever flip top phone. :cheesy:

And sliding doors - though they had two stage hands behind them doing the sliding. I read an article in New Scientist a few years ago saying that they could design a mini -sail about the size of a matchbox that could be pushed along near the speed of light to the nearest star system (Alpha Proxima), then it could beam back the info at light speed, with a round trip of @ 5 years. Cool.

Indeed, many astronomers, and some in NASA (including Jim McDivitt, the commander of Apollo 10) think manned space travel generally, and Apollo specifically was a huge waste of resources, the romance of humans being there notwithstanding. But the summary of it all is this, to me - the US spent millions developing a ballpoint pen that would work in zero gravity: The Soviets just used propelling pencils. Biggest is not always best, despite what my bucket-fannied ex might think.

You need to get on Twitter mate and join the rest of the apologist tramps trying to defend this with the usual brand of Kopite bollocks.

It’s Evertons fault apparently, those Blue lights were antagonistic.

Probably more Liverpool fans in Devon than there are in Liverpool. Social distancing would be a disaster.
