Woodgate has been sacked as Boro head coach and replaced by Warnock with immediate effect https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/f...n-Woodgate-North-East-relegation-trouble.html
From what you hear of him he sort of agrees he should retire and has in the past promised his wife he will do but just loves being a part of the game to give it up. I suspect there's a lot of reasons which he has given for cutting back on his involvement, or taking of jobs, which were true at the time but no longer are. He's a divisive character but I'd put him down as one of the best Championship managers in the past few decades personally. Great move for Boro.
Woodgate must be poor, Gibson is usually quite patient. Thank Heaven's it wasn't Sol Campbell being sacked this quickly ... ... you know, word for word, what he'd say.
I don't. I can see Warlock staying for a season if they go down and I'd fully back them to take one of the automatic promotion spots if he does. Woodgate didn't do a good job, but in fairness they got rid of a lot of their established players last season to cut costs and have been using a lot of youth players. Tough task to start your managerial career with.
You are right mate but let’s see how good the useless twat “ he’s not good enough for Sunderland “ is, time will tell
