Anybody who downs tools in my eyes should never be allowed back regardless of talent ( 1 out of 4 games decent performance).Hope he rots on a subs bench somewhere, snivelling little ****.

This is it, i can understand him wanting to go to barca, i have no real issue with that.

But the whole bad back thing really pissed me off, I dont like it when any player does it, but he was plucked from relative obscurity, made world class and then spat his dummy out.

**** him.

I hope he's got to go back to barca and sit in the reserves.

Napoli turn down Liverpool bid for Koulibaly
Liverpool are keen to partner Virgil van Dijk with Napoli's Kalidou Koulibaly next season, but they'll need to improve on their bid of £58 million, which has been rejected, according to Corriere dello Sport.
Not going to happen.

If we're unwilling to pay £53m for Werner at 24, we're never going to pay £58m or more for a 29yr old.

Frankly after watching yesterday its not the defence that needs all the work. Lack of depth at full back means we have to play Milner or Gomez out of position, and the drop in standard between the front 3 and their cover is too large. Its the reason we should have maned up and got Werner.

I want him if he would make Sadio Mane sign his new contract <laugh><laugh><laugh>.

Yeah, Koulibaly is never going to happen. **** all chance we've put a bid in. Tbh I'm bored of the constant links to big money players even after it being widely reported/known about why we didn't attempt to sign Werner. If we sign anyone, it'll be a relegated bargain or some kid. Plenty of deadweight moved on. Nothing else happening this summer.

I don't think we'd even bid for him if we had a bottomless barrel of cash!

There are rumours that we’re interested in Saka who has a lot of potential, and his contract is running down.

another option is David Alaba ... again, his contract is almost up. He would be a world class signing for LB, CB and midfield

One of the papers has us signing Saka at £156k a week. I am sure that figure would have some of the current squad knocking on Klopp's door!

If Norwich get relegated would anyone think Cantwell or Pukki would be worth a punt?

Pukki was a one season wonder and he’s now 30.

Cantwell is a player I quite like from the little I’ve seen of him, but I’m not sure what his best position is, and I’m not sure he does either.

Would be a good but not a signing we're likely to make. Klopp likes to develop players, Alaba is already established.

Papers never get the figures right. We also pay a low basic with lots of motivational type bonuses

But he’d be on a free or a low transfer fee due to his contract. Wages would be high but it could represent good value.

the reason we don’t sign established stars is because of the lack of value.
