It's obvious what I'm saying, couldn't be any clearer ....

.... as clear as the true meaning of 'I'm off to bed'.

And it'll be continued if I choose which, at this point, seems unnecessary ....

... you've never got to any real point and avoided any questions you can't answer like why you think the Colston statue should be taken down. aA you're so sure it should be an easy answer, but instead you won't say. As this is the debate that seems a bit pointless.

Best to leave it there tbh.

It's exactly why I decided to have nothing more to do with him.

Good post mate but I have to be totally honest, which is what I was in the post you're quoting.

Part of the decision would be based on race.

Races and nationalities played a big part in our crowd control, I'll give just one example.

If we had a Bastia v Nice match there'd be loads of Corsican hooligans coming off the ferry, and they despise the French believe me.

They'd be over for the whole weekend and would want cheap accommodation so would book mobile homes into which they'd cram 20 blokes. The train station to Nice was 250 yards away so they'd pile on, not pay and get off to the match. After the game they'd get off the train and come into our bar or restaurant and start taunting the French.

On one occasion we had to get the pump action shotguns out and really go for them. The guns were loaded with 2 sand cartridges followed by 2 rubber and the last one lead. If the first 4 didn't stop them you'd be glad the 5th would, just take a look at the scenes in Dijon to see what goes on mate ...

... scary stuff.
My apologies Smug, I should have wrote nothing to do with racism in my post and not nothing to do with race :emoticon-0148-yes:

Reactions: Smug in Boots
As people can no longer black up faces, with which I agree, does this mean the end of the infants school Nativity play.

Surely we can't allow our kids to wear tea towels and dressing gowns which could be taken as mockery of our fellow humans.

How do immigrant children from that part of the world cope, is what torments me.

It's racial stereotyping and there's no getting away from it ...

... and I've lost count of how many times I've been lectured about that in the last week.

(My little granddaughter was lovely as Mary last Christmas having graduated from 'lamb by the crib' in the previous year.)

What gets to me is statements such as "I'm not saying all Muslims are terrorists but all terrorists are Muslims" and this is passed around in general banter, is repeated and becomes an accepted narrative.

No one on here has said that though ...

... which is nice.

In fact I've never seen anyone say that, do you have just one example.

I have my personal experiences of people saying this, I'm surprised you haven;t heard it somewhere

I would make a point of not mixing with people like that, where was this?

I've never heard anyone say it let alone multiple times as you have.

I expect you pulled them up and told them they were wrong, did you?

No, I pummeled them to the floor and hit the white honky bastard with a baseball bat

Back to topic:
What about 'n***er in the woodpile',, wasn't there a Tory Mp suspended for saying this a couple of years back?

Come on, you said you wanted debate.

You've made a statement, which is quite a serious accusation, and I've only asked where this was and did you pull them up.

Unless you're prepared to back up what you're saying it's just endless drivel ...

... surely you can see that.

You can't just say, 'back to topic', like you're a 3rd form history teacher.

You made your claim part of the topic.

The why did you just that,You may argue or try and widdle out of it -that you weren't replying to me

But this IS about me isn't it? I think you're a tad confused

I respond to all kinds of people who never squeal about being trolled because they're man enough to answer for themselves.

You shout 'trolling' when you know you have nowhere else to hide.
Know you fill the boards trotting out ****e with no substance you great big hunk of a man

If you have anything to ACTUALLY DEBATE

I suggest to you that racism is embedded in our language, It is an assertion

You can agree or disagree or not reply at all - or divert attention away from that discussion -then hurrah, Smug has won woo woo
