Worry about this kinda so called politics that people think is acceptable ... This isn't about getting one up on each other using words, that's for **** holes forums...... This should be and only be about us and our future generations getting a better deal than previous generations.

This pantomime in parliament is a fking joke and I ain't fking laughing with you guys

I agree it is a pantomine, but I stand by my earlier point, Boris has been ridiculed on here many a time over the last four years, along with the Tories, along with Brexit. My point being regardless of endless narratives, regardless of how many times Looney Leftie put up polls appearing to show that the people will vote differently, they didn't!

I must have cast a vote in around 4 or 5 polls in the last 4-5 years, each time what I voted for got in.

So people can write as many narratives as they want about Trump, people can shout as much as they like about the lies and cheating, none of it makes an ounce of difference, it's what happens at the polls that count. I'd say I would vote for Joe Biden to keep up my winning streak, but the problem is, as I highlighted last night, I know fook all about him, because the media are too obsessed with Trump.

I'm pretty sure I will see endless polls again up until November, where the American people are going to hang Trump out to dry, I'll believe it when I see it.

As for Black Lives Matter in America, will black people really turn out, to vote in another ageing white man - I might as well go stick my head in a bucket and scream, because neither candidate would inspire me to turn out, and if blacks turn out in their droves, then I'll be happy to admit I'm wrong, but I'm certainly not going to be holding my breath on it - RIP George Floyd, but all I'm seeing is the same old.

Time will tell.

I think black voters will turn out in force - not to vote for Biden but to vote AGAINST the Trump administration ... Trump will try every trick in the book to deny them the opportunity, but expect the Democrats to keep rolling out the relatives imploring people to make a vote for change ... Sleepy Joe may just be sleep walking into the White House ..

Maybe so, who knows, but as I also said, I'll go and stick my head in a bucket and fooking scream, that black people are going to turn out in force so you say, to remove one ageing white guy to replace him with another ageing white guy. I'm just not convinced.

Biden would need to say he is going to reform policing, but he won't do that for real, because prejudice is clearly rife through America, ok, you get a million people turn up to protest, ok as Treble said 120,000 dead from the coronavirus, but you all seem to be forgetting the population of America is 328 MILLION!

What's Biden's views on gun control, another biggy in America. What's his views on the Wall, whatever it is, will it go down well in places like Texas and San Diego.

Abattoir outbreak triggers surge in German coronavirus infections

Meat production conditions in spotlight after more than 1,000 workers test positive

Germany’s coronavirus infection rate has shot up to its highest level for weeks after more than 1,300 abattoir employees tested positive for the virus, sparking a debate about working conditions in its meat processing industry.

The army has been deployed to the abattoir at Rheda-Wiedenbrück, in the industrialised North Rhine-Westphalia region, to help with testing, tracking and quarantining its 6,500 workers.

The high level of infections among workers at the slaughterhouse, which has been closed for two weeks, was the main factor pushing up Germany’s coronavirus reproduction rate — or R-rate — to 2.88 on Sunday, from 1.06 on Friday.

The R-rate is the average number of new cases generated by an infected individual. If it is above 1, an outbreak expands exponentially. An R-rate below 1 — as has now been achieved in most European countries — means the outbreak is contracting. The Robert Koch Institute said Germany’s R rate was particularly sensitive to local virus outbreaks because the overall level of new cases was so low.

I can see brb's point here. There's an element of the Neil Kinnock about this. Just don't get assumptive and don't believe the hype. If anything it can work against you as NK found out.

I'm not calling the U.S. elections. Living in hope more than anything.

Good of you to say, I've no idea what is going to happen, but I'll believe it once I see the crackpot actually get knocked off his perch, once and for all, and that's when the results are in and are final. I might look up, what Joe Biden is promising the American voters at some point, just so I can get a better understanding of what he has to offer, other than just dethroning Trump.

What is it about meat processing plants as iirc they had similar problems in the states. Mind you it appears to be fairly common across the whole food processing sector so perhaps they have been unable to construct usable social distancing arrangements .

Unreal that number though 1,300 just at one plant. It's quite concerning not just for Germany but every country, especially as this outbreak occurred as I understand it from a wet market in China originally.

We've also had an outbreak at the Anglesey food factory. Clearly lessons still need to be learned on what is going on in food factories. You wait until we open the bars up, imagine if they had been open now, and that lot in Anglesey had fancied an after work drinks!

The voting public are to blame I'm afraid.... No political party would get my vote.... Why..... Because I won't vote on meaningless bullshit unlike the public who think its a democratic right to vote for someone even though they know its complete bollox.... Picking one turd from another turd still leaves with a turd.

Biden and trump......oh my Now what a choice that is but some imbeciles will vote for em ...... I'm sorry but can you really say you would want any of the ****s making decisions for you by voting for either one based on a so called word that describes something that doesn't exist anymore.......... democracy

At what point do you reckon he will try to postpone the elections?
He’d need approval from both houses to manage this, and he won’t get it, so they’ll concentrate their efforts on good old fashioned cheating instead.
