The average League One club has a total income of £6m, it's almost impossible to break even, never mind take out millions in interest payments on top.

Agreed! We'll attract more interest in the Championship and we are a Club with potential under the right owners.Drop and we are worthless!!! Having said that, with the current crop of players and morale as low as it is,It's looking ever likely that we haven't got the fight to stay up.If we drop then someone like Curtis Woodhouse could regenerate the spirit that we lack on the pitch, though I doubt very much he'd work for the Allams.

I think the only realistic way to ditch the Allams and their poison is for the club to sink very low - fourth division low, at least. They simply can’t back down and admit they are wrong, and Ehab Allam is a high functioning moron. This is the latest display of hamfisted toxicity that started when old man Assem did all CTWD’s press releases for them.

They are rich and stubborn and stupid. Once you come to terms with that odd mix of attributes, it all clicks into place. Today is the latest example of the Allams imagining they are cute hardball business titans, but proving themselves to be halfwits.

Decision on Lichaj assuming his agents offer was correct is nonsensical!

Funny as **** they published a more damning arrival than the Athletic would have done though

Yeah imagine playing hardball when he's literally just suggesting that he gets the standard extension and if we go down he gets released.

Does anyone know how their non-football business is doing?

I take your point but I do not wish us to drop that low under any circumstance, in our clubs experience the lower Leagues have been bastards to get out of.

It needs wholesale change. Blackpool managed many games with an attendance of 0. That eats into the owners funds quickly. Does anyone think even once grounds are re-opened we could stay away?

Grieve walked when Assem whapped £6m on the price after the deal had been agreed, not because he didn't have the funds (other deals have fallen through due to people not coming up with the readies, including another US buyer).

Like any other Club we have a hard core of support who follow whatever. It's entirely down to the individual but I think you'd still find 3-4k still willing to go.The Club has been through some hard times in the past and in my 51 years of supporting It's never stopped me and if truth be told it won't now.I don't disagree with your sentiments 're the Allams but bums on seats won't starve them out and the effect on the players in terms of morale would be catastrophic.

The effect on the players re morale can hardly get worse. The publicity of zero attendance might have an effect, especially as the Allams are pissing the press off.

That's assuming we still have the same demoralised squad. We're talking about next season here, possible new coach and fresh faces in the squad.Question...Do you see the scenario of zero attendance?

To see my beloved HCAFC go from the highs of the FAC final to this, in such a short period of time is astounding. I'd cry, but I'm getting to that stage were I honestly don't give a ****...C19 and other world issues has put a new perspective on things. Football is not that important.

Hopefully we stay up,they realise they've dodged a bullet and sell...They held out through greed and it's came back with a vengeance and bit them on the arse.He can display his anger and hatred to the fans as much as he likes but he'll never convince himself that he hasn't ****ed up big time!!
