When it comes to football its all about pride and honour thats all supporters really ask for. Honour the shirt and show pride in your performance...If this ****wit in charge had honour and pride, he would stand up and say, 'I dont think I can', but being the obstinate twat he is that will never happen. What continues to stagger me, with our glorious best run club powers in particular, is how they think they'll manage this club on a Division 3 budget. To think they could have had £100 million plus for the club if they hadn't tried to have someones trousers down for another £6 million. Now the club is worth, well not a lot, perhaps not even that. The good news is, they will have to fund it out of their own pockets.
With him I think we would of gone up next season. He was building something and already had momentum. The players liked him as did the other staff. He was a pleasure to be around even tho he was continuously positive, which in my eyes is no bad thing, although I understand if someone said it was sometimes annoying. I was glad when he got the job as he is a good manager. McCann I knew nothing about really but his signings had me concerned early on. If sign players from the lower leagues that is where you end up.
Turbo and Bowen masked a multitude of problems (most knew that). would Adkins have done much better without them
I keep jumping from one point of view to another on this, on one hand, he's been given sack all to spend an sometimes you've got to make do with what you have. Our attacking options.....consist of a FT from Gillingham, a 50k signing from Bolton and a lad from the youth team. On the wings. since Jan we've had a loanee from Barnsley, an up his own arse loanee from Pboro and today an Everton loanee who has less end product than pretty much anyone i've seen in a city shirt. On the other hand.....he has one system, it worked with 2 outstanding (for champo footy) wingers to bag shed loads and rack up assists, but since then we've been utterly exposed by everyone we've played. Some of his team selections are just baffling.....I just don't know what to say, other than it'd be pointless sacking him now as we couldn't (wouldn't) be able to afford anyone decent enough to get us out of this mess. Next season he won't be the manager, that's for sure, we'll prob be in League 1, and the squad is going to get A LOT worse than it looks at the moment.
Anyone listen to his post match interview .. talk about deluded .. the man is totally removed from reality .. that performance was shocking yet he claims we played well and only an error cost us the game .. the fact they missed another sitter to mask it is neither here nor there .. he is completely clueless and what's more believes he is doing the right things which means he either wont accept his tactics arent working or he is watching a different game to the rest of us .. with him at the helm we are down .. I dont see the players up for the challenge which at the very least you would have expected him and his scottish roots to be half decent at by rallying them before a game and at half time. But instead he just whispers along with this rhetoric of same old same old .. I'd get rid and at least give the new manager some time to see a system to suit this lot instead of the crap this idot is serving up.
Well, he knows **** all about football by his own admittance, which puts him one step ahead of the current incumbent.
The B word is considered offensive to many these days, Quill. Follically challenged is acceptable. Or negatively hirsute. Shiny bonce. Hair today? Gone tomorrow. All acceptable. But not the B word. Slaphead? Slaphead is probably ok. With accompanying gestures.
