McCann on Radio Humberside - "I thought in general play we did pretty well, we were in control". <doh>

Think he needs to go to Barnard Castle!

So, after a long break, time to reassess, we serve up the same old same old, expecting different result = mad man.
No quality (from Manager & team), no idea, no hope. Time to bin off McCann, Roy Keane in, now that would be entertaining. He’d soon sort out the wheat from the chaff.

Nothing, we’ve just spent the last decade being a better team than you. Don’t worry, it’ll balance back out again soon. You’ll fade away again.

Not the last decade, this will be the third season on the trot you've finished below us, you had a good couple of years though, I'll give you that

priceless :emoticon-0102-bigsm:emoticon-0102-bigsm and what have you won in that time to make you so much more succesful.?

Well, judging by the fact you’re acting like you’re about 10, we’ve spent more time in the top league than you in that time, and we’ve won the same as you...nothing.

Wow, didn't see that coming.
It's all about the future now then, who's is looking the rosier?

Toral coming off lost us that. He was the only one looking to pick a pass in the final third.

I'm not arsed about going down, but at least try, the players don't look like they're worried, they look like they're in mid table.

I'll need a full and frank explanation as to why Burke was dropped for McDonald, or why Bowler started over Samuelsen.

****ing **** from start to finish, their goalkeeper could have sat that out and it wouldn't have made a difference.

Burnsy was saying "Toral had to come off, he wasn't affecting the game"

That's because Charlton changed their tactics - marked him out the game, which is when McCann is supposed to change his tactics to free up that space to get Toral back into it - not just take him off!

I agree the players look like they're in mid-table. Clearly in-denial. 94th minute we were still faffing about with it passing between ourselves in the middle of the park instead of launching it into the box!

Burke was dropped for MacDonald as he hadn't trained all week. Leo was ill apparently.
Bowler is unbelievably frustrating - got everything he needs to be a great player, but needs a quality coach to teach him the simple things - beats his man with ease, but can't pass or cross a ball to a team-mate to save his life.

Stat from the game - Hull City attempted 33 crosses. Only 5 met it's target.

How many more games are needed before we are officially relegated? Our mean points per game = zero with no standard deviation.

I take it by your ability to roughly (very roughly) construct a sentence you’re older than 3, so you’re obsessed with us because we’ve been more successful than you in your lifetime ✌

At least I can use the quote button correctly.

So do often like to converse with what you perceive as 10 yr olds on the internet?

Not really an excuse but, mebbe the m/t ground hasn't helped? Just checked results and Blackburn were the only home team to win today.

Just a wee hickup that. The rub of the green. Wind changed direction at the last second and ball got away from Long. The boys are all well up for the next game. Not worried at all. Three is great camaraderie around the whole club. A wee setback that but lots of positives there for all to see. We're working hard on our game plan, so with a wee bit of luck we will be fighting fit and ready to go again next week.
What about the warm up...?
