Not according to the bookies this the **** list. https://www.oddschecker.com/politics/british-politics/next-conservative-leader
Oh do **** off with this politics ****e ffs. You've got two threads for that bollocks. Edit - Or what Tom said, more politely.
My thoughts "Nothing to do with today's excellent result. **** politics and politicians." Should have left it at that sorry I didn't.
Oustanding 2nd half performance. Several players stood out but Armstrong essential to us being able to attack effectively
Armstrong brilliant yet again. It will be really interesting to see what Ralph does with him long term. For me, our game plan is so much more effective with him on the pitch and he is crucial in helping us quickly link defence and attack. However, Ralph has made it quite clear that he wants the 2 attacking midfield players in his 4-2-2-2 to be blisteringly quick - one of the few qualities Armstrong doesn't possess. Will he favour pace with Djenepo? Or go with Armstrong? Edit - This is with the assumption Redmond starts as the other attacking mid.
Armstrong was excellent, but did nobody else think that for the first 15 minutes he couldn’t trap a bag of cement or pass wind, let alone a football? He looked one of our most rusty in that period. My lad and I kept asking if it was his cousin Footstrong.
I watched the first twenty minutes thinking this is surreal. I am glad I haven't paid to watch this. We were very rusty and seemed unable to keep the ball or pass to one of our own players. I was about to give up and find something more interesting to do when Ings hit the bar and we seemed to have got into our stride at last. It then became an accomplished performance all round with just one or two exceptions. Valery seems to have lost his way a little bit and against a better side could have cost us a couple of goals. I like Norwich and am a great believer that we need sides like them in the PL to enable people in the regions to enjoy top flight football. What the game did for me is to reinforce my view that the crowd contributes so much to a game. We are like extras in a film and we should be treated far better as a consequence.
Agreed Godders. It was a very strange watch. I only enjoyed it because my team won. I won’t be watching anyone else and this reinforces my belief that we shouldn’t be playing these games now. It is like a different version of the sport. A team like Norwich needs it’s crowd. If they’d had 20,000 fans in that first 15 minutes, we may have stayed in the rusty zone.
We looked sloppy and off the (fairly slow) pace to start with, but when we started moving forwards, in numbers, there was only ever going to be one result. It was simply a case of how many we would score. PEH seemed rather iffy/subdued/poor. He didn't actually set any Norwich players up (from memory), but he seemed unable to pick out any of his own team either. I doubt if he will make the starting XI for our next match, unless his attitude has a 'Road to Damascus'-type conversion, or a Boris-style 'U' Turn (Oops, politics)
Great result and should have probably been four or five nil. We really need a new right back. Armstrong is one of my favourite players. Could he play central if a quicker player gets the nod over him for the wide role? Really want to see Adams get more minutes, he should have come on as soon as Redmond scored. The home losses to Burnley and Newcastle are even more annoying, would be 8th if we won those.
