I think the support at SMS is much better than it was say under Puel, Pellegrino and Hughes and I thought that we were very good after the team went down a man against Newcastle, it was like a siege mentality.
As a long distant fan, I gave up going down to SMS last season and just do away games because of the poor atmosphere and dreadful support at home. If I feel the negativity, I bet the players damn well feel it I think we will pick up results at an empty SMS that we would have lost with so called fans sat moaning and groaning
Especially Arsenal. https://www.justarsenal.com/full-ar...ecimated-ahead-of-visit-to-southampton/249043 Decimated at the moment.
I make that 9, they didn't include Luis who is suspended and Sideshow Bob, who should he getting a ban because of his idiotic behaviour to maupey
I was surprised to discover, too late to watch it, that tonight’ Everton v Liverpool game was also on Sky One, so hoping for the same against Arsenal.
Yeah, it was getting better I think, since Ralph arrived. The negativity set in after Koeman left, partly as a result of what was seen as negative football. Ralph has talked about the importance of the team connecting with the fans; I think that’s started to happen, and can hopefully continue if we are ever allowed back in the stadium again.
Much better imo. When you also consider the GAME WE DO NOT MENTION was plumb in the middle the crowd have been pretty patient overall. I think it helps that they can see what Ralph is trying to do, even if he doesn't always have the players to do it or persists with occasional odd selections.
I had a look and I see that Burnley v Watford (?) are on Sky Sports, Sky One AND Pick, but we’re just on the Sky Sports channels. You’d have thought that Sky would have wanted a bigger audience to see Arsenal lose 3 in a row.
