Wease, Poyet's team plays some good stuff and his teams are always well organised so not a bad choice mate.

I think we've got the makings of a cracking squad so now we need to look at some with the tactical savvy to us them effectively, so I'd prob. say Carlo, but think it's a pipe dream. We'd prob get in MON but to be honest wouldn't be too upset at his appointment,

The text below comes from an article on the Villa blog with loads of stats about MON's time in charge of them. Sounds very familiar for some reason, I don't think he is the right choice either.

Conclusion
What can we tell from these numbers? What we know already, but this almost constitutes proof. Villa under O’Neill are very impressive during the first part of the season. However, the squad is not being utilised.

Too many players are starting too many games, and substitutes are not being used nearly as often as they should be. We can also see that at some point during the season, O'Neill's Villa side are pretty much guaranteed to go on a long run with few wins to show. This always occurs later than in the season.

Coincidence? Look at the numbers again though, look at the worrying statistic for this season - whereas in previous years, our annual "bad run" has started in late January or February, this season we've started one in December. Even more worryingly, this trend is appearing year on year and nothing is getting done about it.

Steve Bruce is still the manager of OUR football club, and until the time comes when he starts exercising some tactical nous the football we will play will be embarrassing ****ing drivel.

Why is it drivel? poster asked an `if` type question, with no insults intended, as is his right on these boards, it gets a certain ammount folks thinking about alternatives, you cant tell me you would not rather have the special one instead of Bruce.
 
Out of the 12 names mentioned, I would put Bruce ahead of 10 of them and we will have little chance of getting the other 2...
