I had a relatively convincing phone call from a scammer purporting to offer an extension to my Amazon Prime account last week. Definitely not from Nigeria. Beware people.
I had one of those and was about to hand over my details, then I remembered that I don't have an Amazon Prime account.
I wonder if somebody writes this stuff in their native language then puts it through google translate or something? I can't believe that somebody with the nouse to fire out the emails can't get it proof-read first. Or is there some sort of automated process churning it out blind?
The terrible truth is, there must be people who fall for this ****, otherwise the scammers wouldn't bother.
