I would suggest another perspective on slavery in the Americas. In my opinion the living conditions of white indentured servants (including poor children from London) who were kidnapped in some cases then transported to work on farms and plantations in the Americas was not really very different from that of black slaves transported from West Africa. Today we would describe that indentured labour system as modern slavery. It was only finally banned in 1917 long after slavery was abolished. Still, nobody really cares today, because if your skin was white by definition you had white privilege. I doubt if the indentured white servants would have seen themselves as privileged in any way. Once upon a time, the UK was THE Super Power, the crucible of the Industrial Revolution, defeater of Napoleon, conqueror of Hitler and bastion of culture, with the English Language, most modern music and countless other things stemming from these fair isles. We invented the World Wide Web, the telephone, the steam engine, the jet engine, most modern sports and countless other things that make the world what it is today. We have been at the forefront of liberal democracy, leading the abolishion of the slave trade, having a truly democratic system and being one of the fairest and least corrupt places to live in the World. We also will likely be the first to take a stand against the EU, hopefully scotching their attempt at killing democracy in Europe. Since 1997, we have traded a lot of this away under weak governments and left ourselves under a mountain of debt and with a largely useless underclass who suckle off the teat of the working and middle classes, or make a living peddling the creed of -ism inside cosmopolitan and political circles. Now we face the greatest crisis we have ever faced as a nation. We are the victims of the long game that has been played by the perfidious left. Our education system has been reformed, so that rather than teaching useful skills, our youth are brought up on a narrow left wing creed that dismisses everything that made Britain great, and peddles globalism as the only 'correct' way. Our governments have drifted further and further left, hoping to collect the votes of this youth, and as a result, we have been forced to accept the creeds of multiculturalism, transgenderism and economic socialism as law. We are left with a Police force that no longer protects and a legal system that does not uphold fact. We have been dismantled from within. The question is, where do we go from here? We have tried to pursue resolution by democratic means. We voted out Labour in 2010 because of what they had done to us, and kept the Conservatives in power ever since. Brexit won in 2016, and got a resounding backing in two European elections and the last GE. We forced the Conservatives to oust Quizling May through the ballot box, and forced the Conservatives to select Boris, the most reasonably least left-wing candidate we could expect. But this has not worked. What do we see now. We see the Government continue to impose one of the most punishing tax regimes ever seen. We see a suffocating welfare budget. We are forced to accept the cult of the NHS, both overfunding it and being shamed into an Orwellian applause for something that many people don't really want. And now, we see Police Officers taking a knee before violent XLW protestors, who destroy our heritage and try to whitewash history. All the while, our media continues to peddle the line that the old guard are a bunch of racist undesirables, simply for being white and not XLW. You can't even watch League of Gentlemen any more because a character had a black face, even though he was never supposed to be black. I bet you can still watch 'The Last Leg' or 'Rosie Jones' though... This all feels a little 1920's Germany. How long until we have to wear armbands and get on trains to 're-education' camps? So Democracy has failed. Our wheels of state are failing. The media is against us. I dread to think where we will be in 20 years time. Do I just need to accept that my children and I are now undesirables, simply because we are English and white? Do I need to find a minority to belong to? Do I need to put on a dress and cut my dick off? I don't belong to any of the 'protected' groups - no one has my back. So what to do? Nicked. So on the left we have the BLM (black lives matter) protesters that I sadly now have forgotten what they are protesting for? I did initially think it was because a known criminal (please gloss over that bit) was unlawfully killed by a Police officer (4000 miles away) whilst his fellow police officers ate doughnuts drank coffee and done nothing (slight exaggeration). This organisation which is now extremely wealthy, and now has it's own investigation(s) into missing donations of money given to it are turning out to protest again in London on Saturday. But, the police officers are now all charged and rightly so, but they (BLM) are still unhappy because apparently they believe the world doesn't think Black lives don't matter? Despite the police(of all color) trying to save the inner city black kids by pulling them over all the time and checking them for knives which they keep err, killing each other with, the police are now apparently racist. Now, (stay with me) on the far left and attached to this BLM group is a group of people called ANTifA. Now these crazy loons are the "aggressive arm" of anything that's to do with having a civilized life. So they want to defund the police and get rid of them and basically just create anarchy. They are for the majority, white, middle class, student types and many come from a very "privileged background". They hate the conservatives, they hate the police, and they hate authority. Just lately they now appear to hate statues too and believe that Basil Faulty was and is a racist, JK Rowling is a transphobe and anyone who posts on twitter should subscribe to their views of be issued with death threats. So on the right.-- We have the Veterans association who walk in all colors. However, as patriots who believe in democracy have decided that enough is enough and if the police keep kneeling to the Woke generation and running away at riots they themselves will take matters in to their own hands. They want nothing more than to defend the statues of some of the UKs wonderful heroes from yesteryear. The likes of Churchill, Queen Vic and Big Nelson themselves who quite frankly have taken an "artistic beating" over the past few weekends. So these patriots have their opinion, and oddly enough this opinion of saving statues, stopping the far left from demanding their removal appears in direct contrast to a massive 5% of the population (recent survey) who want statues removed. Some of these veterans may be getting on a bit but they can still if needed land one or two blows that will knock ANTIFA out if needed. Some of these vets though are actually quite young and a bit pissed off. They plan to come from as far afield as Blackpool, Preston, Bury and the Northeast. They haven't been out for a good time since the beginning of Lock-down. The right is supported by those a bit too feisty to go in the army but love a good tear up and consider themselves patriots of the UK. This group is called the Football Lads Alliance (FLA). Now the FLA are far from racist and are made up of all colors. They are an arm from the dying breed of football hooligans that can no longer get a ruck due to heavy policing and a change of attitudes to fighting at football. Hooligans they are, Racists they are not. However, they have also taken um-bridge at the way some of those from the BLM movement have decided to team up with ANTIFA and start dictating the rules. Therefore they have decided to increase their own numbers this week and also defend the statues and targets of the BLM/ ANTIFA types. Tommy from Millwall and Dagenham Dave a long time hammers fan have put their differences off the field apart and joined up with Steve from Stoke Barry of Blackpool and Big Nige from Newcastle to ensure a "united" front. Also joining the right listed above (commonly called by the Guardian and BBC The Far Right) is actually the err? Far Right. This group of people is a group of people who have splintered off from the former BNF, EDL and more latterly the Britain First movement. Now these guys are having a day off from chasing and bringing to light "child grooming gangs" by turning out for a row down at the Town. Not sure protecting statues is their order of the day and pretty sure their only objective will be to cause trouble. In the middle of this and referee will be the wonderful British Bobby and his/Her (politically correct adjustment their ladies) truncheon and Horse. Having spent the last few weeks being pelted by missiles by the BLM and ANTIFA brigade will now be hell bent on protecting them from "Tommy's Mob". The idiots are now in power and that is some scary ****. Being a realist saddens me greatly as I can't see any way back to any kind of common sense. It'll take some sort of revolution to revert this in any way but unfortunately the human race is regressing. The gene pool is polluted beyond repair - short of an extinction level event - and that's actually a possibility these days with those peaky little viruses.
