Hang on a minute. Who organized the "stunt"? Was it the Tory MPs who turned up to have their photo taken holding a sponge? I am not sure why they were there if it was not to have a picture taken. This was done to manipulate those who will be easily taken in.

This is what happens when you feel that you have to support a party no matter how illogical and stupid it looks. We can either say that that it was a silly idea that went wrong for the MPs, or that you can try and make out that having made idiots of themselves it was something that can be ignored. What doesn't make sense is to demean yourself supporting stupidity.
