Just like Cortez - "Shakey" was always searching for gold. Montezuma didn't get in his way !

Just watching a bit of ‘live’ theatre
Hired Man which was brilliant at Hull Truck

Hull Truck Theatre, Queen’s Theatre Hornchurch and Oldham Coliseum present a screening of
The Hired Man
With the support of The Really Useful Group Ltd, the premiere of the streaming will take place on Monday 15 June at 7.30pm, and will then be available for one week on the Queen’s Theatre Hornchurch YouTube channel and via our website.

Talking of gigs, live events etc.Anyone know what Don Letts was doing in Hull at the weekend(OLM might know).

He walked out of a lift in the Hotel yesterday morning as I was walking in...Had a brief chat with him, lovely man and obviously an absolute legend in my kind of music genre..After Saturday's defeat it was looking like a long journey home but I was more than lifted in meeting someone that I have always had a huge interest in!

I went to see Cast last night at Hull Uni.

Absolutely class. Liam Tyson is the best live guitar player I've ever seen.

For the guitar nerds. I can't remember the song but he did this two had tapping thing.
Good to out to gigs again isn't is

Best guitarist I've seen live is Lindsey Buckingham

Between Keef and the above mentioned for me:emoticon-0148-yes:
As much as anything it was the intensity and length of Buckingham's playing which was amazing (although he was technically incredible too)

Played for over 2 and half hours solid, he was the only band member not to leave the stage at some point, and was constantly playing really hard and fast without a pick. Must have finger ends like diamonds
