It’s a really good book and explores what it’ll is to be patriotic in modern day Britain and that it doesn’t necessarily make you a racist.
I got him to sign my copy :)
I thoroughly recommend it.

I like the word necessarily <laugh> not met Billy myself but certainly know of the man and we are definitely on the same page on a lot of issues

I think it's pretty clear over the last couple of days what you believe in?
I am British (as it says that on my passport) I love my country. I am hardworking and honest. I don't go around breaking the law or carry 'protections' to demonstrations. I don't need to deface National monuments because I think it somehow 'cool'. I believe in law and order. Don't you?
I voted Brexit because I believe this country has some fab people that will move us away from the stale bureaucratic EU.
The thing is Wills I remember having this same conversation with you months ago regarding some other demonstration (which I believe was nothing to do with BLM). You talk about risk assessments and organization but the death of George Floyd is only 2 weeks old... is BLM this month's thing for you? what will it be next anti-capitalist?

Tell me Wills do you go on political forums? To see others opinions and see their points of view, I've not agreed with Stainsey on a few bits recently and i think we have both learned a lot from each other, the same goes for Goldie.

Hope you got your answers Stainesy. It's certainly been interesting about hearing the sort of things will has to go through before a protest. I hope he continues to be peaceful and that trouble avoids his group

As for you, I responded to your post the other day. Remember you put up a podcast and I agreed with what you said.
The problem is here is that we seem to have a few vocal lefties that don't like to hear the truth.

Yet again you are missing the point, I suspect deliberately as others seemed to know what I was doing, **** I even explained it in a response to Stainsey . I have done the guilty by association thing you have been throwing at me. A fairer thing to throw at you would have been to ask you to explain and apologise for illegal acts carried out by any other person claiming to be a Tory supporter, not even Tory party members

Should you have to do that? Of course not, just because they claim to support something you support, the acts they do might not reflect your values, I don't think any other person on this forum does not understand what I'm getting at so please don't pretend you don't.

You seem to be surprised that there are others that don't want to bother, and don't think I should bother with you. Lets just say the couple that have commented are not alone, there are others, why do you think that is the case? Those of us you dismiss as vocal lefties seem to have no problem at all having conversations with the like of Goldie, there is only one common denominator with real clashes is you. Maybe you should look at the way you correspond with people.

I think I have been pretty decent considering the personal attacks, suggesting I just choose a cause a month, whatever's popular. Can you not understand that is ****ing insulting, you know next to nothing about what i have done in regards to humanist causes over the years and should remember that before you start casting assertions out there. My personal life is my own and I don't feel I should feel to justify and disclose it on here.

Is that from the official UK group? I'd be surprised, anyway I'd agree whoever it is, it's a ****ing insane move. You can pretty much look at anybody in history and find some bad in there, Gandhi was a racist and had some very questionable practices with young girls for instance.

What some of the people attaching themselves to the movement don't seem to get is that certain actions will only go to push the more moderates, those who are potentially sympathetic to the cause further away. These are the people required to be on side, to enable change to happen.

Oh just in case it's needed I Willhoops totally condemn any vandalisation of these statues or monuments
