Jolly d, to get back on topic, despite it being undeniably, irrefutably true that having a stronger lockdown imposed earlier would have saved lives, Matt Hancock says the government made ‘the right decisions at the right time’.

The big question is, how did Matt Hancock get the severe brain injury he is obviously stuttering from, or was he born this way?

His interview with Sophy Ridge today was a bit special.

I thought perhaps once he was the good guy being hamstrung by the decisions and ineptitude of those above him. Unfortunately he’s just a useless **** complicit in this shambles.

I find it hard to imagine anyone as exciting as you Jeff. To be honest I didnt even realise you had anyone on ignore as you dont post anything anyway.

as I have said before to anyone who hasn't got me on ignore
there should be an icon on the screen to let you know if you are being ignored
there could be a number under the likes one

Just read that NZ is Coronavirus free. Well done to your government and the population as a whole.

From an extremely jealous UK resident.

As of midnight tonight life returns to almost normality
Concerts and live sport is allowed to have a crowd
Bars and clubs can return to normal trading
No limits on the ammount of people in shops
Social distancing is over (has been for a while really)
Borders are to remain closed for the foreseeable future

Well done NZ <applause> showing the world how it should be done.

I'd love to be able to go to football or a gig

Interesting that your border restrictions are one of the last things to be lifted. Our halfwit Government hasn't applied any and is now applying quarantining requirements. Shows how different Government responses have had an effect. Oh but we're not allowed to make country comparisons.<doh>

Authorities are worried that people arriving into the UK will put names like ’Mickey Mouse’ and residence as ’Buckingham Palace’ on their quarantine forms. :emoticon-0100-smile

after the weekends peaceful protests, or rioting (depending where you are), I am fully expecting to see a rise in Covid 19....sadly

I think Im on the fence of Dissenting and Frustrated. I have elderly parents who have had health issues, have asthma however I want to see the country start to have some kind of "normal" existence again. Whilst I do my best to observe social distancing (have been told that as a grumpy old anyway this should be easy) it is other people that don't follow the guidelines. When there is a ********* fill in as appropriate someone called dominic cummings that is exempt in his own mind of the rules we all have to follow then his example will mean the beaches are full of people that don't care. My partner has health issues which have meant that we cannot meet at present.

keep your parents and your partner safe mate. You will see them all in the near future.
I don't want to go on about Cummings (we all know he was a dick). However, these protests and groups of people will cause problems. Just use common sense.

Wise words Ellers...
Lockdown was over after VE day and Cummingsgate...followed by the weekends on the beach and now the [HASHTAG]#BLM[/HASHTAG] protests
There will be a second wave, lets hope not too big.

But your words are wise "look after you and your own". Keep as much lockdown and social distancing as you can manage. Take all the protection you can get. And hopefully then you and yours will not become a statistic.

Today we start phase 2 of lifting our lockdown...….shops with street access are allowed to open subject to social distancing protocols, we are allowed to travel anywhere within our own county boundaries or 20kms if crossing into a neighbouring county......Pubs, Restaurants, Hospitality still not open until end of the month at the earliest...….We've tweeked the timetable down from 5 phases to 4 so that lockdown should be fully lifted by end of July.

Anyone arriving in the country has to quarantine for 14 days......

Social Distancing seems to have gone out the window to joggers, cyclists and some walkers...…….at least the weather stopped mass gatherings on the beaches this weekend......
