Black lives matter have organised 4 demonstrations in London for Wednesday Saturday Sunday and 1 next week .
The Mayor supports this but the rest of us are still under strict lockdown .
We don't have an issue with racist police brutality in Britain this has absolutely **** all to do with the Met but they are going to have thousands of "protesters " pretending they are in America acting the **** in the capital.
IF they start looting destroying cars and property and attacking the plod , Boris will bring the army in and put London under martial law with armoured vehicles rolling about .
I sincerely hope this doesn't happen but there are a lot of Antifa types and violent blacks so I won't hold my breath .
I can see Kensington and Knightsbridge getting done as they meet up in Hyde Park .

Actual facts are good and help clarify the situation, hence I thanked him and will have a look later.
Retweets of percentages with no proper source reference I can see or context are so easily manipulated that their only purpose is to sell a narrative. It's not even hard to do. Both sides get taken in by seeing what they want to see, overall I'm a pretty dispassionate and objective person to be honest. I don't mind whether those percentages are correct but I'd want to see the data rather than just accept them.

they don’t have enough funds to place people into some kind of shelter , temp or perm .
I have had friends made homeless and have had no choice but to couch surf as there were no other options . Luckily they had friends .
There are not enough places, it's just a lazy excuse for the Government's failings to say that the homeless choose to be homeless.
For the corona lockdown, they recently put loads of homeless Londoners in hotels, who they then kicked out ages before everyone else was sent back to work.

some literally have no choice . No friends or family and no local support.

In Stratford the East European alcoholics stole the jobs of the Scottish tramps and moved in big numbers.
Every convenience shop that sold beer had to change their business model and sell minimum of 4 cans and nothing over 5% your Kestrel ultra type stuff.
Groups of 4 or 5 blokes standing outside drinking cans out of little brown bags hassling passers by.
A little bit of EUROPEAN culture in East London .
