Has she apologised? ... I hope so... a little humility is the first step. Whilst, she obviously didn't help to set the rules, she still had a responsibility to abide by them, so should consider standing down from any non-elected role ... whether the people of her constituency want her to stand down as their MP is a matter for them.

It’s a marathon not a sprint. It would’ve been virtually impossible to overturn the polls entirely but it’s a better start than could have been expected. More to do with Johnson/Tory incompetence than Starmer IMO but he’s still come across well. A long time to appeal to the ‘working class Tories’ who voted Tory for the first time last year. The ones who treat politics like football and support their side no matter how many policies they introduce that directly harm them probably can’t be reached, sadly.
