I am always fine Mr askewshair thanks Everyday is a good one for me.

    :)

    Well done Mr Quill

Until I got to 40 the only time I didn't drink was when I fell asleep. Not easy to stop but you can do anything
I was an idiot and got done for riding my scooter pissed as a fart...got banned and got done again while still banned.

That was the end of drinking for me as I knew if I had one I would have to have another...and another and so on

Yep I was an idiot when younger.

Cola or orange for me now...I wont even have a shandy

I hope you dont mind me sharing something absolutely fantastic.... the words beneath are those of the lady singing... I dont know where she's been (as an artist) but I know where she should be going (as an artist)..

Lipstick & Cocaine - The song that saved me.... The story goes.. I was a drug addict, I wanted to die, I was depressed, I was being beaten to near death by an ex partner. A policeman rescued me. A doctor helped me heal & when I lay dying on the floor my mothers face came to me from the grave and said "you can do this, it's just one more fight". I then fought harder than I ever had, to LIVE, because music was my destiny. PLEASE talk to someone about depression or anything that you are going through. Don't think your worth is being beaten or brainwashed into submission & don't ever think that this world would be better without you! I am proof that life can be wonderful. This song is for all those who dare to speak up against such things. As hard as it is to sing it, I wrote it for my own recovery but also for you, YOU who are fighting the fight. If you need advice on anything I have posted please contact your local mental health charities or authorities but do not stay silent.

Friend of my work mate killed himself a few days ago. Mate said he knew he was struggling with lockdown but didnt think he’d do that.
The harm this lockdown is doing and will continue to do isnt worth the risk of continuing it

    That's sad Chazz

I am really lucky I don't get depression or even get fed up .

It must be bloody horrible to suffer from depression

3 months in lockdown apart from 2 , 5am escapes with Lia on my Noddy Scooter

Take care Chazz and everyone else of course

I am not the most prolific contributor here but after following city since I moved here in 1977 first pay at gate and since the move to the Kcom season pass holder.
    2 reasons for this

1 - diagnosed with cancer in week of lockdown currently having to self medicate in an even longer lockdown period upto end of virus Covid or October when self medicating becomes hospital treatment
    .
2 - Allam ruining of city all the for greed especially Enob the slimy toad.

But have mixed feelings for Papa as I am treated at Queens centre.
I have started to really look at things in a different perspective especially counselling as I am having a therapy weekly and calling Macmillan at a set time to discuss everything and anything. Those people who work at Queens are truly amazing and as for Macmillan they are so supportive even on bad dark days when everything seems bleak.

That felt good writing that above!

Macmillan nurses are wonderful people mate, I have a very good family friend who is a Macmillan nurse. They'll keep you on the right track.

Good luck with your recovery mate. So many people get past this terrible thing these days, including my Missus.

Well done for posting the above, it can only help. Stay strong <ok>

I never thought that I would post about cancer. It’s scary stuff, but one thing I have learnt is that talking about it really helps and this forum is a great place to do just that.

If writing feels good, or even slightly less worse then keep doing it when you fancy.

Best wishes for the treatment, hopefully you’ll make a full recovery

    Take care
