By the sounds of it, it was misleading and if so I apologise. The other part is not irrelevant he is a high profile government representative going against the government’s ‘message’ rightfully other high profile people who have gone against that message have resigned. If he doesn’t go it will only further undermine the government’s message, but whilst people are willing to make excuses for anything.. why bother, the public will see it for what it is, one rule for the public and another for those in charge, absolutely shameful.

The one thing I’ve appreciated is some Torys and Tory supporters have called for him to go which given the circumstances is the only option it’s just sad that some people will look for any tiny thing to try and stick up for someone on their side. For me if this had been a labour representative what would I have done? Disagree, it was organised by the group led by donkeys who have done great work highlighting and bringing to to public attention some important messages, hypocritical situations.
