What I did like about Cummings, apart from his effective work delivering Brexit, was his purge of the jobsworths in the civil service. Promotion always appears to be buggin's turn regardless of merit. It needed a good clean out to sort the good from the bad. I really hope that work doesn't stop if Cummins goes. Breaking News: The man that says he saw Dominic Cummings was out for a walk and said he saw a man that resembled DC. He then thought he should take his License plate number. Luckily he had binoculars and managed to record it. He then researched the number and contacted the newspaper.
He must have had police contacts surely to be able to research ownership of cars by number plates? I don't think that info is available to Joe Public

Agree if he resigns he will be moved around and end up doing something similar. I posted recently that the Guardian was accused of a 'witch hunt' over Cummings. They have been waiting for him to make a mistake and it may look like he has? Probably best for him to go as it's overshadowing the main issues that need discussing.

Agree. He is an ex chemistry teacher I believe. He said he was 'out with his binocular's and 'takes notes of things'. He wasn't satisfied when he couldn't get the number up so he contacted the Guardian and the Mirror (surprise surprise). He wouldn't rest until he knows who owns the car!
