Myhill vs Tottenham
Daws senior vs Arsenal and then Tottenham a week later. When he emptied his pockets, they found Walcott and Lennon in there
Bullard vs Man City(I think). He had three home games in November when he totally controlled the game. E pensive 270 minutes though.
Most unforgettable half for me was JJ's vs Burnley in the promotion season, until Mike Riley (?) sent him off. I believe sadly that was his last ever action on a football pitch, and his only sending off. Absolute pleasure and a privilege to have seen his cameos
Jelavic had a fantastic start to our second relegation season and I recall was particularly dominating in one home game. That run of form came to an abrupt end through injury, bwhich he never really recovered from. We probably had our strongest ever squad that season but it was freakish because every time anyone hit form (and there were a few) they got injured. And Brucey still got criticised for rotating for the Euopa league.

Okocha away at Wolves 07/08 , applauded off by the home fans when subbed .

I seem to remember him and Henrik P having an absolute belter of a home game together once but I can't seem to remember who it was against or the score, just remember then absolutely bossing it and thinking wow!

Going back a few years one that has always stuck in my mind ws Roy Greenwood vs Leicester City in a League Cup game circa 1973. We won 3-2. Greenwood ran rings around the Leicester fullbacks for 90 minutes. I thought I had seen our future, but he never had a game like that again.

It was also the game where deVries scored his one and only goal in the 300+ games he played. Against Peter Shilton.

I cant remember who we were playing, or the score. It was a home game and we won. I do remember it was in the championship.

The opposition were passing the ball around in our half with ease. Ian Ashbee was doing all the chasing on his own whilst the rest of the team just watched. Somehow he managed to get a tackle in and clear the danger.

He then started shouting and screaming at his teammates, he was ****ing furious.

From that moment on we totally dominated and won the game easily.

He wasn't the most skilled of players, but he was an outstanding captain on and off the pitch.

I'd call that a great individual performance.

I've seen Peter Shilton a few times at BP....He was dogtod every time.
City 4-1 Lester...City 3-0 Lester...other times when he's conceded a few...Always looked dodgy.

in the 3-0....I think Terry Neill pumped a long ball over the top, Waggy or Chillo ran onto it. Shilton came out then stopped in no mans land, Waggy or Chilton just dinked it over his head as he stood there like a spare tool at a wedding.

Could have been Pedersen's first game - 3-1 win against Ipswich, early in the 2007/8 season. I think Okocha set up both Pedersen's goals and then the third for Wayne Brown (?).

Going to throw Mendy vs Liverpool in the mix too, that 2-2 draw at Anfield would've been a storming win if he'd not had to go to right back. I've never seen as dominant an outfield performance from a city player, Dossena must still wake up in tears in the middle of the night sweating having had another nightmare of Bernard running at him.

Great call.

Most memorable - Fetis goal, after being told by Dolan to go up front and "make a nuisance of yourself"...

We've had some strikers that couldn't do that...

Myhill v Spurs of course.
But at the same time, I was thinking near the same as this.
You maybe can't remember because it was the same or similar in so many games, and in all 4 divisions.
What a captain. Incredible. And a massively underrated footballer (by some who know nowt).
