Very good closing down by the ITV reporter.

Shapps response - follow the guidance.... and then it's up to each individual to do what you want <doh>

Absolute bolloxs about risk, so what if someone with mental health problems is at risk, can they travel 250 miles to be with someone esle instead, fook off.

The ITV chap made a really good point. What's to stop every fooker coming up with a reason to drive hundreds of miles to visit whoever they want.

It's just more and more contradictions, which seems to be the benchmark for this farce from start to now.

If I was Shapps, I'd do the decent thing, and refuse to defend Cummings, because overwise it stains his own integrity.

The advice was simple. If you or a member of your family had symptoms then the entire household had to self isolate for 14 days.

Them trying to suggest that Cummings deciding to travel 250 miles whilst him and his wife were suspected of having the virus, which would have involved stopping for fuel etc, to then stay with his over 70’s parents, when at the time the over 70’s were told to isolate and family visits were banned. But seemingly not if your an unelected bureaucrat steering the Tory Govt, in which case you can just make your own decisions and do what the **** you like.

Did he self isolate for 14 days? (Im not defending him by the way)

Worse than that mate it undermines the government. They've never accepted any errors, any wrong decisions whether it was the herd immunity, the late lockdown, the PPE fiasco, the way the elderly in care homes have become collateral damage. And this is just another example of that.

It's stonewalling at its best. No responsibility or accountability. Sadly this is what politics has become in the last 20 year+
